True to its word.
For my application, I have a basement wall that is on the uphill side where water builds up against it. It's cracked in the middle and several times a year during the thaw water comes through the crack that runs from top to bottom. I forced in as much waterproof cement filler caulking as I could. I was still left with several or more spots where there was so much water pressure that it looked like a little boy peeing through the crack and into my basement in several locations along the crack. We've had to use a mop and bucket each time. Then I used this "Flex seal liquid rubber" after reading some good reviews. I rolled it over the surface of the cement over the crack and about 6 inches to each side with two good thick coats. I expected it to bubble up where the little boys were peeing with so much pressure built up. There is absolutely no sign of bubbling or leakage of any kind, this product stand firm like an oak. I wish everything worked this good the first time!.

Worked Awesome For My Repair Project.
I used Flex seal Liquid Rubber in gray to repair a HVAC unit stainless steel condensate pan that pitted through and was leaking. The evaporator coil supports were made of galvanized steel and sat in the drain pan causing a reaction resulting in metal loss and pitting.I pressure washed the drain pan blasting any loose flaky metal off. Used foil tape to back the holes from the outside. Applied JB epoxy to inside pit holes. Let cure and sanded and cleaned again.Applied two good coats of FLEX SEAL. FLEX SEAL went on very nicely with a 2" wide soft brissel chip brush.

Does exactly what it is supposed to
I needed to seal some water pipes with slow drips and nothing else seems to have worked, but this did.

arrive damaged can
I like this product. Have used before from another store. So I have not used this can but I am assuming it will be the same. I an surprised that the can didn't leak. It was so banged up when it arrived. That is the reason for a 4.

Stopped foundation wall leak—amazing product that really works well.
December 2021 update: Our state had one of the wettest year’s on record, and Flex Seal continues to do its job to an extent that we did not have so much as one drop of water leaking through the coating. It remains solid but flexible, and there are no signs of cracking or peeling. We have a 7’ long foundation crack. 38 year’s ago we sealed the crack with Drylock FastPlug. Water leaked through. Then we used Drylock cement paint. It worked for a few years, then water seeped through. A few weeks ago, we put three coats of gray colored Flex Seal (cones in a quart paint can) across the surface of the crack. Big rain came a few days later, and there was not even a drop of moisture to be found. Thus is amazing stuff. If this didn’t work, the only way to fix this leak would be to excavate the foundation wall from the outside. Word of mouth says that this product is great to stop foundation wall leaks.Note: this stuff is like thickness of honey. It spreads best with a paint roller. The gray color blends very well with the surrounding foundation wall. But it also comes in other colors.Always fill large cracks with Drylock Hydraulic cement and let dry before using Flex SealMake sure you clean the wall to ensure good adhesion

Easy to use
After watching a YouTube video about this produce, I bought this Flex Seal Paint to seal up a leaky galvanized horse water trough. The water trough was not leaking bad---just a slow leak along the bottom seam, but it bugged me and I thought this would be a good way to make the trough last a few more years. The trough was spotlessly clean--inside and out. I painted the Flex Seal on the outside of the trough bottom and the sides about one foot up being very careful to liberally paint the Flex Seal onto the seams of the water trough. I let it dry for a week, then tipped the trough back over and started using it. After about three weeks, the trough is leaking again---same place. So, I'm going to clean the trough thoroughly again and try painting the inside of the bottom of the trough and up the inside a few inches and then repaint the outside again. Shall see if that works. I will again wait a week to refill the trough with water. Hopefully the Flex Seal won't make my horses sick! So, I'm a little disappointed with the product and the claims.

Very pleased with this product!
I loved that it sealed a pretty suggnificant crack in the bowl of our birdbath, and it dried and was waterproof in only 24 hours and has a smooth surface that is easy to clean! This re-coating of a decades old birdbath barely used any of the 1 quart can, so I have plenty left for other projects.
