It lets you control volume on your audio device with your foot.One end of the pedal travel is full volume, the other end (of the pedal travel) can be set to completely off, or to lower volume. This could be useful for a guitarist or keyboard player to switch quickly between one volume level for the song verse and a louder level for the solo.Good quality, well packed and arrived promptly.

It works ...but it is now faulty, you have to make sure the input is in a certain way otherwise it buzzes can't really move it around it makes such a noise. The inputs at the back look really crap, infact the inputs cover up the text . Can't refund either.... If your desperate, buy it but expect problems.
