New BalanceMen's Fresh Foam 1080 V10 Running Shoe

At first heel felt odd. Did a mile on treadmill and heel fit incredible as does every part of this NB 1080v11Like running and walking on a cloud. I researched this shoe for days due to getting shin splints years ago and I believe these shoes will aid in preventing those horrible things. I ordered a Brooks shoe at same time to compare. Which I returned. This NB1080v11 fits my foot perfectly. I was using NB 680v5 size 10.5 so I ordered the 1080v11 same size.The top of toe box has a very stretchy weave. The Brooks toe box had a weave but it buckled instantly. This 1080v11 is snug on sides but really forget you're wearing shoes. Very light. Take my OCDapproved researched decision and grab a pair of these.

Having previously ran with version v8 and v9 I had high hopes for this version since v10 fit was a flop. This shoe resembles the lastest version of the Beacon which I own and is one of the best fitting shoe from the NB line but lacks the cushioning for a long run shoe. So the V11 upper is very soft and breathable hugging the foot without any detectable hot spots. The heel is not quite the same as the beacon, a bit looser. But not by much. I am able to run without any movement in the heel cup. Because of the heel flair they are easy to put on ( I use elastic laces) now to the sole... the best cushioning ever for the 1080, hands down. Super soft.! Overall these shoes deserve a 4.5 stars.There is a quality issue inside the tongue of the shoe. An overlay poorly sewn where the tongue attaches to the shoe. At this price point I would not expect this. I shall say that it doesn’t bother me in any way so it’s just a finishing issue more than anything else. If the heel fit would have been like the Beacon I would have given it 5 stars. I will buy again

I've been looking for a running shoe that offered both heel and front foot padding when running.This shoe delivers 100%. As an avid runner ( 10 miles a week) my metartarsalgia ( front pads) where always aching.I took these babies out. Gave them a good 3 mile test.ZERO.Zero foot pain. I recommend these 1000%

I am extremely flat-footed as well as having very wide feet. I have to use custom-made orthotics in my shoes to help with the flat-footedness and the issues I have from that condition. I am also an avid walker and sometimes throw in some light jogging from time to time and have had problems for a long time with the bottom of my feet burning after about 25 minutes walking, even sometimes getting blisters. I have tried numerous types of shoes and after a week, this is the first pair which has helped the problem. They fit great and are very comfortable.

Bought these for walking exceeding and a bit of jogging. However, the first one I bought was defective. There is a stiff inner material that wraps around the heel. In the left shoe this material was misplaced. It was much lower the on the right shoe. It was obvious that something was wrong and I thought it was my sox. Adjusted, them replaced my sox and the problem was still noticeable. After feeling around (see the picture) it became obvious that the material on the left shoe was placed much lower than on the right shoe. A defect. Not acceptable for walking or jogging. So… I sent them back for an exchange…. I received a another pair and on the next day I tried them on. The defect is on this pair also not as pronounced as in the previous but definitely noticeable by the back of my foot and feeling around it. I will return these of a refund. I believe during the manufacturing process some one is using the right-shoe-form to attack the stiff material to the left shoe or there is one form that is able to aline the stiff material to the right shoe but not the left. I do not believe it is an automated process since on the two pairs I tried the stiff material on the left shoes were both attached improperly but they were not at the exactly positionally the same. End result they were both defective. Not acceptable, especially at this price. I will shop for this sneaker at a local shoe store to determine if all these are defective or IRREGULARS are being sold as perfect shoes. I hope someone at NB reads this and fixes the problem because the shoes seem very nice otherwise.

Fans of the 1080v10 rejoice, you will love the v11. Nearly identical midsole/outsole, with perhaps a touch more softness. The v11 offers luxurious cushioning for long runs. The upper is vastly improved & is stretchy in all the right areas with a solid foot hold. The ultra heel provides a great hold to the back of the foot. No question best daily trainer so far in 2021.

ONG...so far, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn especially as they relate to adding comfort/protection for the “balls of the feet” (metatarsal)! I’m a little worried about the shoe “forming to my foot” because of the “smart foam” technology that’s promoted by NB for these specific shoes. I hope they don’t end up giving in to the pressure of each step and lose the amazing comfort, but time will tell.If the “balls of your feet” feel like they’re on fire or bruised after running then you’ll definitely live these shoes!

Update:Tried another pair after exchanging. Same issue except it is happening with the other shoe now. If I were in a shoe store I'd just swap the shoes out for each other so I'd have had two good ones, but that's the joy if Amazon!---------Original:There is a band of thicker, more ridgid fabric around the side of the shoe. The right shoe felt amazing, the left shoe however had a band of that fabric that would bend inwards and dig into your foot. It would literally jab you with every step.In the picture you can see how on the left shoe the fabric appears more "bent" or warped. I believe the shoe is defective somehow.It's really difficult to find comfortable shoes in my size and it is really frustrating when you breakdown to spend (what I still consider) an absurd amount of money on shoes only for them to be defective. I always bought New Balance, now I'm being forced to look to other brands because it's impossible for me to find a single quality shoe from them anymore.

Mid life crisis health kick caused me to buy these. Knackered knees dictated cushioned shoes. The price of these almost caused me a heart attack (£130), but I must admit, I wished I'd made the leap much earlier.These running shoes are SOOO comfy.They have given me a new lease of life and allowed me to take up running with little to no knee issues (which I was getting with my knackered 20 year old trainers).Worth every penny for the benefits, and I'm now over 2 stone lighter.

Very bad fitting, which is extremely disappointing given that the 1080 v 10 was such a fantastic shoe. The shoe is very wide and even with the laces pulled uncomfortably tight my heel was slipping in them. Ordered the shoes to my exact size. Cannot imagine how giant your feet would need to be to fit comfortably into the “wide” version. They don’t even feel like new balance shoes. I would order the 1080 v10s again any day over these.

Design , look, color are excellent,fitting is also goodBut the main issue is comfort levelIts mentioned fresh foam , but it wont feel soft and comfortableBut its very hard foam

The size chart is totally wrong don’t purchase based on size chart and I have purchased standard size but I got wide size shoes it’s the second time I purchase the shoes, both time I have a problem with size
