If you prefer the warm romantic sparkle of classic incandescent lights, these are as close as you will find in LEDs. The trick is, you have to mix them with the incandescents, no more than about 1/3 LED and you won’t even tell the difference. The reason I use them is because I like to add a little action to my lights without looking like I’m trying to land aircraft or invoke seizures. They have two nice gentle fade modes that are pretty much self-explanatory. They do NOT look pastel as they appear in the photo, and the unusual clear wires disappear once your decorations are all up. I’ve been buying these for many years, and they have never failed. Highly recommend. Warning- When used in masses on their own, they will have that cheap cold LED glow, like a Hong Kong street market.

The media could not be loaded. So, part of the lights on my prelit tree went out and I didn't want to replace my expensive 7.5 ft pink tree. So, I cut the old lights off and decided to string new lights. I decided to upgrade to LED from the old bulbs and it came out even better than before! I liked the versatility of the 6 different light settings. The lights were durable and vibrant! I just love, love, love the new look of my Christmas tree lights (my old lights were standard pink wired with white bulbs). I definitely recommend!

I guess I missed the part where it says lights are waterproof but the plug and control are not. Being they are marketed as outdoor lights and even the packaging states “ put them on trees, shrubs , fences etc” I thought that meant they are outdoor lights. But after seeing the plug and remote are not waterproof my husband and I fixed a covering to keep them dry. But every night, once it gets damp, it trips out GFI outlet. We have had many outdoor lights plugged into that plug, but these are the only ones that tripped the GFI. I suggest if you by them - use them indoors. Also they reset to the settings and you have to change them to your desired setting each tune they turn on. I bought them for our arbor and wish I wouldn’t have bought them now. The colors also appear more pastel than what they actually are. They are too “Christmas” for summer for my taste. I would give them a star for indoor use but nix the outdoor use!

LOVE there- but be aware there is NO connecting plug at the far end of the strand, meaning you cannot connect multiple strands, They only plug in at the one end-so It's great that this is super long, particularly for that reason. I really like that I can change the blinking pattern of the lights whenever I want. The lights are tiny and light weight but SUPER bright. They are more true color looking than pictured, not so pastel pinky/purple.

I got these thinking they had purple/pink lights included but that was not the case. I had to buy an extra set of purple and one of pink lights to add to it. Regardless of that they are pretty and bright.

UPDATE: contacted seller because of the problem below. They responded quickly and provided a promotions to buy new lights (Free). The wires inside the control are very thin and fragile. There must be a way to protect these wires from breaking so easily. If you already have these lights, open the control box and maybe you can figure out a way to keep the wires from breaking. I will upgrade my 3-Star to a higher rating depending on the new lights performance and durability.Used these lights indoors; they worked great and we loved them on the Easter tree. However, first one color string stopped working. I kept pressing the button but still didn’t work. I unplugged it and replugged in several times. Then suddenly, all the lights stopped working. I ordered these early before Easter so naturally the free return window (30 days) has elapsed. Will try to contact seller to see if they will replace them. If they do, I will delete this review.

I ORDERED THESE LIGHTS FOR MY CHRISTMAS TREE. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, JUST THE RIGHT LIGHTING, THOUGH I DONOT USE THE REMOTE I HAVE TRIED IT, MANY DIFFERENT OPTIONS, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG.

The colors shown here are misleading. They're not a pastel at all. They're red, blue, green and yellow. Not impressed.
