Based on other reviews that I read, I decided to give these a try. I used them last week and had to process my salsa twice to get a seal. I used them yesterday and finally after 3 tries I discarded the 8 lids I had used. The 4th time I tried to process them with different lids I did everything "by the book" just in case I had done something wrong the previous 3 times (doubtful). Still no seal. I finally put them in the pressure canner for the 5th try. I THINK they are now sealed but still not sure it will hold. Needless to say my salsa is very thin now from the heating and reheating. My instincts tell me to throw the other 180+ in the trash. I have been canning for over 40 years and so I am not a beginner that doesn't know what they are doing.

i used 6 lids and they all bulged and i didn't seal. i do't like them and will not give them to some one else to use. i won't order any from here again. the pictures of the lids doesn't show any writing on them but the word canning is written on all of the ones I got. i recevied something i didn't order.

These are poor quality. I recently had to throw out 8 quarts of green beans because they did not seal properly & soured (even though it appeared they were sealed & I had used my pressure cooker to seal them). I had to order these because none of our local stores had the flats this year. 😩

I've used about 20 of these lids over the past week or so for both pressure and water bath canning, and so far everything has sealed and stayed sealed.

These canning jar lids are just what I needed. Very hard to find locally as I guess everyone was smart and made a garden this year! Thanks for the great price as well!

If you can a lot, these lids are a great bargain.

These lids pucker when processing. The jars seem to be sealed, but there is a deformed lid when processing is complete, about 33% of the time. Some seal fine and flat, but not having 100% success in this endeavor leaves doubt about the quality of the food. Also, home canning is work, invested time, and expense. There is no room for error in processing, because if the lids don't seal, what's the point?
