good
I consider myself at an intermediate level of fitness and have a martial arts background so I enjoy kickboxing workouts.Pros: Instructor likeable, decent counting, cuing ok (kickbox combos are always tricky) and I never felt hopelessly lost. Good form (some instructors are just unwatchable for me.) Nice combination of segments for overall body workout. Minimal music with strong beat, could be a bit louder but ok. Backup people non-annoying. Overall, I did work up a sweat and got a good but not great workout.Cons: For myself, I prefer a shorter warmup, 5 minutes max. Moves were sometimes a little awkward --- same arm/leg used when using opposite arm/leg would have flowed more naturally. Kickbox segment was the best cardio-wise --- I never really kept my heart rate in my heart rate zone for very long in any other segment. I like circuit style where your heart rate is up and down but I mostly felt like it was down too much. I guess it depends on where you are at fitness-wise but I always prefer tougher, longer cardio segments at all times and the 3 instructor style with low, medium, and high level moves that you can choose from. Camera work annoyed me sometimes with unnecessary zooms and, really, are zooms of anyone's stomach/chest/butt really necessary? Rather than feeling inspired by someone's awesome abs, I feel annoyed cause I can't see what they are doing to follow along. I find a lot of workout DVDs do that and I'm wondering if this is for the guys or what? I'm guessing majority of people who do workout DVDs are women (I could be wrong, but this is my experience) so they would be catering to the wrong crowd.Overall, this was good and I would be interested in more DVDs by this instructor.

A Solid Workout
Rapidfire:kick, box, and core burn is a solid and complete workout. This DVD contains a very comprehensive workout explained extremely well by Susan Chung. The workout can be done completely or you can choose to mix and match. Every workout comes in three rounds, each round a little bit more difficult in intensity. You can opt for only the first round of each or stick with a certain routine. This gives the practitioner the ability to slowly work through the entire DVD if the fitness level is not adequate enough. The workout contains:* Warm-up* Shadow Boxing* Aerobic Kickboxing* Heavy Bag* Standing Core Ball Workout* Floor Core and Abs* StretchThe equipment that is used during this workout:* 1 lbs. Dumbbells* Heavy Bag* 6 lbs. Core Ball* Boxing GlovesHowever, the equipment is entirely optional and can be replaced with alternatives.I found this workout to be complete, clear, and to the point, with good warm-up and stretch segments. Another great thing about this DVD, the kicks, which are somewhat challenging for the beginner are briefly but clearly explained in a safety segment in the beginning of the DVD.Easy to navigate, easy to follow, to the point instructions without the drill-sergeant mentality from the instructor. Overall a very pleasant experience.

McFrotis
This is a good video but not for the beginner. I've done kickboxing before but I'm totally out of shape now. Some of the moves are hard to follow as she combines several moves in one. One of the gals on the video is supposed to be doing low impact but it's still not as low as some of us need and she's hard to see because she's way in the back. This will be a fun video once I've learned all the moves.

LOVE THIS!!!
I have quickly become a "FAN" of Susan Chung's DVD's. I have purchased Rapid Fire and Rapid Fire 3. I recently purchased this one because I wanted a 90 minute workout that had a variety of segments. This workout is so much fun, that I couldn't believe how quickly the time went. Susan's moves are not too complex and the core segment is excellent. I burned 540 calories doing the full 94 minutes! If you enjoy Kickboxing and are looking for a long workout, that is fun and you have the time to do it (recommend doing so on a day you don't have to work), then go for it! You won't regret the purchase...!

Good workout
It's a great workout, but I don't think she gives you enough time to learn the moves. I had to do the separate workouts several times before I could get the form and routine down. It's a great workout that keeps you going though!

Solid Workout
I really enjoy Susan Chung's workouts -- they are challenging without being overly-complicated -- but I did find the queuing in this workout to be just a tad delayed. Other than that, it's a great workout.

wow
Intense workout, wish there was a beginner's level where they really explain some of the moves, but it is a good intense workout, especially if you already know the moves
