Haven't had a problem with it.
It's what I expected. Got it on time and gets the bait out there. Has no problems catching 10 to 15 lb flathead catfish. I bought it to get my bait out a little further then my 7' and 7'6" rods were casting. And it does that no problem.

I put this rod to the limit. Been snagged many times with this pole yank my line as hard as I can and not able to break. Will buy again once I received my new penn fierce 4000

Love this thing, the action is perfect for my lighter surf setup. Casts beautifully. Paired with my long rod, I now have two setups, one for bigger fish, and this one for the little guys. Two piece so it fits in my car nicely. Love it. Going to buy another.
