It works as advertised. Like others I found the mounting bracket lacking. I will be adding a couple L-brackets for a more secure installation.

Honestly, I didn’t even install it. I felt the pictures were poor representation of the product. To me, this looks just like the head of an oscillating fan on a stand, down to the grill gate on the back side.

How do you make a room brighter AND keep it cool? This fan light is the BOMB!

Ok I feel I need to set some things straight.1. All fans of this design and price point are mostly made plastic. Why? Cut price down and reduce weight.2. Almost all LED fixtures, the less are not only built in, but are so in such a way for heat dispersion. Luckily, if the less are wired correctly they will last 20 years.3. It literally shows 3 blades in the photos.--The person complaining about this is lives in a warped reality.Some real thoughts:1. Fan is encased in plastic, therefore all air generated from this will be pointed downward from the fan and only expanding outward a little. Hence, it does not move air like a regular fan. But it most certainly does move air well.2. The install was the hardest part, they provided screws that don't fit normal electrical boxes. They send you this crazy circular mount and want you to screw it directly into the whatever material your ceiling is made out of.Also, the wire leads do not separate from the control box they use, so this means you have to hold the whole assembly with one hand while you use wire nuts to connect power to it, then you have to attach it to the mount.This was the biggest issue.Other than that, my only other concern is the longevity of the actual fan motor itself.

The fan works fine, however the light glows at night. I can't turn that off since I do not have a wall switch (I only use the remote to control). They need to correct this feature (see other questions/comments). Then I would give this a much higher rating.I wonder if I can cut/cap one of the colored wires? I don't need the light feature, only the fan. The room has other light sources.

Something different from the old standard 5 blade ceiling fans. Love the change!

Turn on alone after a power shortage
