Baby Dress and Play Collection- Dark Skin

I haven't given this to my daughter yet; it's her Christmas present from Mommy and Daddy. But I was thrilled to find this doll! I was planning to buy her a Bitty Baby from the American Girl store, but I was disappointed none of those dolls had open mouths for bottle feeding and pacifiers. This doll was not only as beautiful as the BBs, but I felt it was cuter AND it had the open mouth, blinking eyes and squishy body that will thrill my 6-year-old daughter. I was debating which of these dolls to get her--the light-skinned doll with blue eyes or dark-skinned doll with brown eyes. I went with my personal choice, the dark-skinned baby doll because it resembled my Hispanic daughter the best. I'm really glad I got this one. She's more beautiful in person and resembles my baby so well. I'm easily creeped out by dolls, so you can trust me when I say this one won't give you nightmares. She's precious and I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction. The bonus, for me, was that she came with so many adorable outfits AND a diaper bag with diapers, bibs, bottles and even a hooded towel. She cost about $10 more than Bitty Baby but when you factor in the extras AND the open mouth, there was really no contest. It was a super value for a well-made beautiful baby doll. I can't wait for my daughter to open her present on Christmas morning! Christmas can't come soon enough.

My granddaughter loves her new doll! She requested a new baby doll that was "bald, squishy and brown" and this one was exactly what she asked for. Well made soft body doll and it was a big plus that it came with clothes and accessories.
