Super cushy and comfortable, UPDATED REVIEW
I bought these a half size bigger than I needed because I needed to be able to slip them on quickly with no fussing around. They work perfectly. They seem to be all sheepskin, no synthetic or faux fur. They are very well made, and although a little pricey worth the price. The back is pretty low so these are essentially a scuff with a little bit of "hold" to the back of the slipper. They are great for what I need, they slip on quickly and smoothly. They are super plush and thick, but they will pack down with use. Hopefully they won't end up too big and start slipping around. If you bought your size, without sizing up, I think they would fit fine. Maybe be a little tight at first but as the sheepskin packed down they would fit perfectly.UPDATED REVIEW:These slippers are only 8 months old and they have developed a hole on the top. So now I am super disappointed in them. They are expensive slippers and I expected them to last for a couple years, not less than a year.YET MORE UPDATEDI sent the slipper with a hole near the toe back. They sent me a new pair. That cost me about $17, $12 for shipping plus they want a check for $5. If they last another 8 months then I think this is probably worth it. But you are out of slippers for a month and it’s a hassle. I think it would be better if the leather was sturdier so they don’t get holes. I saw other reviewers had a similar problem with holes.

Just got my third pair! but disappointed.....
My last 2 pairs each lasted 2 years, but can actually still use my last pair for scuffing out to the mailbox etc. I got the ash color this time, and it is even prettier than the picture. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but get a size 9 in these. A little squishy to begin with, but pack down. I do have narrow feet, however, so if your feet are wider and/or you wear them with socks, you might have to size up for half size. The support underfoot is wonderful, better than some shoes I have had, and I find they clean off well if you spill on them. The sheepskin lining is very generous so even when they pack down a bit they are still plenty cozy.Didn't try them on right away as they looked okay, but once I put these on I realized there were some differences to my other pairs. The front was much longer so it came to my ankle, not so comfortable , and it seemed that the cuff was wool and not soft real sheepskin like before. I wore them a little while with bare feet, and my feet were not just cozy and warm, but felt they were on fire! I had to take them off. Everything else was the same, but sadly had to return these.

Compare favorably to more expensive brands
This is my second pair of Acorn Ewe Collar Mules. They compare favorably with other, more expensive brands in terms of size, comfort and warmth and they are easier to walk in and more flexible than others. You can wear them outside to the mailbox, or in the backyard because the soles are strong and sturdy. I admit that I have even worn them to run an errand or two. My only objection is that the inside fleece on the inner sole wears away much too quickly, to the point that patches of fleece disappear completely. When you first put them on, they are warm and cozy and fit my feet snugly, like a good pair of gloves. Once the fleece wears out, they become too big and floppy. I end up having to put socks on to take up the extra space. That is why I am buying another pair in less than a year. In my opinion, this should not happen, especially considering the cost of these slippers. Nevertheless, I have seen the same complaint leveled against the more expensive brands, or I would have purchased something else.

Lasted 18 months, 23 months. Going for 27.
Bought these in October of 20179/2019 (23 months): bottoms are cracked from heel to toe, holes within the sole. I'm not ready to give them up. I'm going to try filling the holes with shoe goo.5/2019 (18 months): worn after work as main footwear. Soles are starting to crack.Wore mine all the time. Was a little short, next time I'd order a half size larger.Kept me from falling on snow and ice when all my other outdoor footwear did not keep me upright. I ended up wearing these ALL the time but the soles are starting to crack in half after 18 months of wear. The tops are still good so I'll likely sew leather soles on these. Their days as outdoor winter footwear are over.

Buy these now !!!
Always on the lookout for a shoe (slipper) that gives support BUT also looks good. (A girl can only go so far).FOUND THEM.I have been teaching Pilates for the past 20 years and can say with full professional and personal confidence - you owe it to yourself to spend what feels like a LOT of money for slippers - on these. Most of us kick off our shoes when we get home - spending more time than we realize in slippers.Sometime in my early 40's I realized I needed to spend the money for high quality shoes (Mephisto, Dansko etc.). I loved my high heels and fashion shoes but knew my posture, alignment etc. were beginning to suffer. These are the perfect marriage of comfy, cute and all round long term good for you.Your feet, knees, back, neck et. al. will be grateful.

You CAN remove the insoles!!!!
I have wanted a pair of these slippers for at least a year but at the time, $100 was out of my price range. I settled for a pair of Sorel slippers which didn't last a year and looked ratty after one month. I was looking for a shoe that had a removable insole but couldn't find any that were sheepskin. When I saw that these slippers were discounted, I bought two pairs. I wear a size 7 and found that shoe was true to size. Surprisingly, I found that the shoe also has a nice cushion and arch support besides being warm and fuzzy. What I didn't expect was that I was able to push my fingers down the side of the insole and slide it under and gently pry the insole away from the glue holding it in. It sounds like it is tearing but the insole wasn't damaged at all. The insole is amazingly well made and thick. But most of all, I can now hand wash the insole in sheepskin soap to get rid of any funk that might build up. I now have my sheepskin slippers with removable insoles!
