I bought these water filters as the primary defense in my RV motorcoach. They were a whole lot cheaper than the name brands but seem to be working just as well and I don’t get the funny taste like I’m eating rotten smelly toads. I highly suggest these replacement water filters which you can complement or supplement with in-line water filters that you can hook up at the spigot.

These are so much cheaper than any other filter I’ve found for my Rockwood Roo camper. It seems to do the trick, we’ve had some rough well water camping sites and have not noticed once this bad boy gets to work.

Too early to rate longevity, but after 2 weeks filter is working great. I have heavy manganese to filter out, so it will be interesting to see how long this filter lasts before clogging as opposed to the 5 or 10 micron filters I've been using. It did remove chlorine odor completely, I chlorinate my well every 6 months and with the non carbon filters, you could always smell the chlorine for a few days. Nothing with this filter.
