FIRST HILL FHW Deep Tufting Storage Ottoman, Espresso

This is a nice looking ottoman; the studs and tufting give it a classic touch and the storage within is very handy. It's a really good size and if turned length ways you get the full chaise lounge effect. The faux leather is a bit on the shiny side and definitely looks faux, but for the $110 that I paid what can I say? I have seen crappier ones for the same money. I deducted one star because I thought the hinges were a little on the cheap side, especially the one that holds the lid open - very stiff to bend, although it may loosen up with time. And I deducted one star for the color description: it's not "Expresso". It's not even "Dark Expresso". It's more like "Midnight on the Dark Side of the Moon". But again, for $110 I can live quite happily with it.

Very well constructed, well padded, especially on the top. Color is a navy blue. Opens with hinges that open and close with ease, large area inside for storage. Soft velvet. Beautiful color of navy blue. All you need to do is attach the legs which are well packaged inside the ottoman. Very rich looking, highly recommend this product. The second time I lifted the lid one screw pulled out, 4th time the second screw also came loose. The area where this is attached needs to be reinforced with real wood, not just shoddy particle board. Dont buy this unless you are handy and are prepared to fix it. Looks nice otherwise.. remove plastic coverings on leg threads before trying to thread in the legs.

I ordered this on the 11th of December and received on the 5th of Jan.Initially I wanted to use this under my computer desk to put my feet up.It's a little high. Not impossible, but when my keyboard tray is pulled out my thighs touch the tray a little.I could remove the feet, but am afraid to damage the bottom of it after prolonged use.This ottoman is beautifully crafted. Great for storing stuff, keep's room tidy.I am happy I bought this because it will look great with my decor no matter what room I use it in.

I could not believe the price on this piece of furniture and tried to get two but unfortunately another was not available.The colour is vibrant and so far appears to be easy to care as I have had stuff more like crumbs fall on it and brushing it off was a breeze without no streaks or staining. The colour was maintained and I will wait for the grandkids to be over, that will be an experience.
