High quality mail slot
This is a very well made mail slot made of heavy gauge stainless steel. The return spring is ok, it has a decent return but can easily loose it's springiness. I've had the mail slot installed for 2 months now. When initially installed the front door used to sit vertically now after 2 months it now is bent inwards and doesn't completely seal against the door. During the 2 months the door has gotten wet and been through wet & hot days. It has been very resilient under these weather conditions with not rust or discoloration. Installation should be pretty straightforward with a solid core door. I installed this on a hollow core door. The installation is not straightforward on a hollow core. It does require purchasing a separate insert that goes inside the door. After a bit of a struggle it did install and is nicely done.

Attractive Heavy gauge mail door slot
The slot is heavy gauge stainless steel and it securely mounts to the door. The interior door slot is connected with the exterior door slot using matching stainless steel bolts with the bolt heads only accessible from inside the house. The door slots swing in towards the building interior. High quality not an inexpensive thin metal single door slot typically sold at a big box store.

High quality, solid, looks great
This fantastic mail slot will elevate any door from standard to magazine worthy. I’m very impressed with the quality and build. It is solid and heavy! The front flap spring is very strong so be aware it will take your mailman some effort to push mail through. The interior flap is less so. That is one of the really nice features is that is has both front and back flaps so the door retains a finished look on both sides (my current slot only has an opening in the back). Be sure to check the measurements/dimensions to make sure it fits your door! I am having to do some extra trimming to get it to fit. But it is worth it so my door can look modern and polished!

new BLING for the in-door mail slot!
We have a 1960's townhouse where the units have a mail clot built into the front door. But, it is old and squeaky AND the spring-powered door of it has always snapped at the fingers of anyone pushing mail through the slot from the outside. This new piece is BEAUTIFUL and is so solidly engineered. The spring door just has such a nice feel to it. It seems like it will last forever. If only it were made of polished nickel or polished aluminum, then I would give it 10 stars!

Review of PUGUO Solid 304 Stainless Steel Door Mail Slot, Front & Rear Parts, Victorian Letter
Really nice and solid. I mounted this on my garage door which required different size M5 flat screws. Other than that it was simple to install.

Highest Quality
The minute I lifted the box this mail slot assembly came in I knew I had made a wise choice. This set is very heavy duty and extremely well made. It is precise and all edges have been finished to perfection. The outside flap is spring loaded to keep it closed and the inside is close by gravity. The stainless steel finish is flawless. I like it most because it is so secure and so precise.

Easy Install andadded Safety
I did not install this mail slot, but I supervised the project and it looked quite effortless. It ook about 45 minutes to an hour because he had to cut the door to fit the mail slot. It is very heavy and sturdy. It looks very modern and beautiful. By the way, we put it in the screen (cast iron) door for extra protection. It was a good price for this product.

Truly heavy duty
This is unlike the thin mail slot covers that you will typically find. Its quite heavy to hold, and thick gauge stainless steel. Although it is a bit pricey, it will probably be the last mail slot cover that you will ever need. I have gone through a few over the years and even products sold as solid brass eventually deteriorate. One area that I feel could be better is that the edges should be curved toward the door. Being 1/8 inch thick with a square edge, the frame and corners will be sharp when installed on a smooth steel door. Took off one star for that.
