BSN Sports Practice 1.6K Black Rubber Discus, One Size

We ordered this for my high-school son to practice at home. The unit works well and is the proper weight. Of course it does not have the outside rim weight like more expensive discs but gets the job done for practice time. Would recommend one of the more expensive brands for competition. Even left this one out in the rain once with no repercussions.

No rim but good for price

I got this discus to practice with for my track meets. Future buyers, do not worry because it is the real thing. Very durable and easy to pack and bring anywhere! The only thing I can't get past is the smell of the rubber.

I purchased this discus for my son when he moved up to the high school track team at school. As an experienced thrower myself, I knew what I was looking for. This discus is great for practicing in the park or backyard.* The price is right* The weight is accurate* It's easy to grip* The material is good for a youngster - It won't get ruined if left out in the yard :)If you have a son in high school who's new to the sport, this is a good choice. If you have a daughter in high school, you want the 1K discus.

Buff the seams so you don’t cut your finger

My 10th grade son is a beginner in discus this year and has used this on the weekends / school off days to help him add distance to his throws. Pleased with the quality for a very reasonable price.

For the price, this seems like a good product, though it does start to show damage quickly.

It's a discus, my son says it works as it should...you throw it, it lands :)

I am no expert in discus, but it is the right weight and size and has not cracked or broken with many throws.

This discus is pretty good overall and easy to grip although it had some extra material on the edges at first but I just scraped the bulk of that off without a problem. Just don’t let it hit concrete or else it will become really scratched up after a bit and the scratches fill with dirt, sand, etc.
