I used to buy the ones from Lakeshore and they are so expensive. At Lakeshore, they are $17 for a pack of 12, and these were $11 for a pack of 25. I was very excited to see these on Amazon. These ones are good and do the job however, if you need to move a student to another seat, you have to remove the whole label and then of course it does not re-stick. That is kind of a big draw back for me. The name tag is sealed in tight but if I need to change the name on the tag, I have to get a whole other pouch. If only there is a way to slide the name tag in through a slit in the top of the plastic slip, they'd be prefect.

I really liked that I put these on the students' desks at the beginning and thevstayed on until the end of the year! Especially considering I washef the desks 4 - 5 times each day!

Made it easy to keep references clean. I did cut it down so reference tabs would show. It made it easier for first graders to pull out the reference they needed.

The pockets are much better than using contact paper but I was hoping I would be able to slide the name plates in and out. However, once you stick them you can not move them or pull the name tag back out.

Love these name plates! I am a teacher and use them in the classroom every year. It makes it SO much easier to change around student's seats! Instead of my small self having to move all those desks (which can take WAY longer than you'd think), I can just switch out the nameplates and students can move their own things! It also does a great job protecting the name card all year from damage--way better than just some clear packaging tape. I definitely recommend them for your classroom!

I don't like that these are adhesive at the open end of the pocket. I like to slide name plates in and out so that I can move student seats. I chose not to adhere them closed and left the flap open but the students play with the open end and the backing is starting to come off after 2 months so some have stuck closed anyway.

I'm so glad I did not listen to the negative reviews. Some reviews mentioned that you are unable to slide a name plate in the holder once it is adhered to the desk. Well, this would true if you peeled the entire backing. However, you can remove the majority of the backing and still have access to the name plates (see photos). I can't wait to use these this fall.
