I purchased these on July 24 as a gift. When newly opened on October 28, one of them was defective ($7 retail value).The response from Sunlight Supply (now Hawthorne):"So, unfortunately, these items don't come with a warranty, after 30 days you cannot return the item with Amazon and we don't offer replacements for this item."They are correct, but based on their response, I would not buy anything from Hawthorne that cost more than $7.UPDATE: I wrote again and they replied saying they would replace the defective Sungrip. Thank you Hawthorne for helping me with this problem.

button pops out
button pops out on it's own, left pressing the mechanism under the white button, straight garbage, but if problem gets fixed then not garbage.
