Nice item however I have had a few that burned out quickly. Lights that do work are actually relatively bright. I am pleased with how simple they are to use, basic design but nice addition to my landscape decor. Lights assemble with adding a steak to the bottom and the light is an easy twist to attach to the top. You turn the switch on and there is usually a bit of a charge to check it they light by covering the solar panel. Once assembles just place as desired. I have purchased several of these and while one order went missing the seller/amazon was quick to replace it. Seller was also gracious to replace defective lights. Again, these were several purchases rectifying problems but the first order was an item I received at a discount in return for my honest review.

By being cheap, the factory that makes these lacks quality control. But if you are handy with a small soldering iron, small phillips screw driver, and have nimble fingers these are easy to repair. I have had a set of these for four years and had to make minor repairs...but for $15 for a set of 4 over a four year period, I'm not complaining. Maintenance tip: After you set them up where you want them and they are working, spray the 'solar collector" with a light coat of 'clear coat' you can buy at any auto parts store. The clear coat keeps the supposedly rust proof screws from rusting, and the solar collector from bio-degrading.

When they work, they're great! The stakes are terrible quality and break all the time, though. The metal used in the tubing gets squashed easily when trying to insert the stakes. Which....you need to do this whenever you mow/edge the lawn. So they're constantly being taken in and out of the lawn, and within the first week of owning them about 6 of my 18 already have broken.When they're fully charged, they emit a soft light. It's very white light and looks crisp as opposed to romantic. I like the look, but I wish they didn't die so quickly.

They look nice, are very cheap, means cheap, after 2 months the first one stopped working, then one after the other stopped, after 5 months only 2 still working. You only get what you pay for, very disappointing.

I am satisfied for most of lights, but a few of the lights are not as bright as others. The one in the photo was not reacting.

So after a year of owning these, I am shopping for replacements. That is not a positive review as I had originally said. This is a follow-up review.

Nowhere near as bright as others I've had and very much toward the blue end of the spectrum.

some wont turn on at all and they are very dim. had them in the ground for about a month
