Traveller: Marooned on Marduk (MGP 40006 )

Very disappointed from a player and referee point of view. The adventure, such as it is, is uninspired, has no real rewards for players, nor much risk. Instead it is more of a 'speed bump' adventure that does little more than side track the players for perhaps a campaign day or two. There are no rewards for the players, and despite its title, the players crash on a populated planet with a starport. So they aren't really marooned as such. I had higher hopes for this, as Mongoose is introducing a whole new sector to players (who were forever trapped in the Spinward Marches it seemed).Compared to previous efforts such as Secrets of the Ancients, Prison Planet, and Into the Unknown, this adventure is lacking. My advice is to not purchase this 'Adventure' in the hopes that poor sales will encourage Mongoose to produce more inspired, rewarding, and above all interesting adventures in the far future.

Product was what is asked for, but was bent and forced into mailbox. Packing did not read “do not bend”.

It's hardly an "adventure", as such.Pro's: Includes detailed info on the planet Marduk, its starport, and its natives.Con's: The "adventure" lasts for approximately 24 hours game time, and assumes your players are pretty heavily combat-oriented.While it is a very good quality book, the scenario is something a good referee can whip up on his own in 10 minutes or so. Worth a buy if on sale or you can get it cheap.

M J Dougherty è un ottimo autore, ma nemmeno lui è perfetto, e questa cosiddetta "avventura" lo prova. "Marooned on Marduk" fornisce più che altro informazioni sul pianeta Marduk e sul suo spazioporto. L'avventura vera e propria occupa invece solo poche pagine, e, peggio, presume che i giocatori facciano obbligatoriamente(!) certe cose, in un arco temporale non più lungo di una nottata. Non occorreva un manuale intero per questa roba, sarebbe bastata una pagina in qualche rivista online.
