I wouldn't use it as a neckless. I got it to hang around the rear view mirror and it's good for that. The chain is very cheap looking and feeling. The pendant itself is beautiful

First off, check the measurements. This is bigger than it looks in the picture, which is what makes it look so good. Everytime I wear it, I almost always get some sort of compliment. It looks like it's madee of silver. I've never had a piece that consistently gets good comments. It almost has a goth look to it, but people young and old seem to like it. the only thing to watch out for is that the tail is a seperate piece that is attached. Sometimes if I fall asleep with it on, the tail may seperate, but it's no problem to put it back on. You can use pliers to tighten up the gap. The only reason why I don't is sometimes I'll wear the necklass without the tail, which looks just as good. It depends on my mood. This is a great value for the price and I highly recommend it. I have two of them now.
