Yokohama Hip Seat Baby Carrier + Teething Pads, 4 months+, Plus Size Compatible, up to 60"

i really like this carrier. its very comfortable and sturdy. i love that the paunch is a little seat. its just great over all and i recommend it for sure. HOWEVER...my one "complaint" is that it is very difficult to manage if you are going out on your own with a baby that is not able to sit up on their own. the clips need 2 hands to disengage because there is a button you have to press in on top while you are pressing the sides in to slide the pieces apart. if your baby is a floppy bunny, its impossible to do this and keep your baby's head from lolling all over the place. the smaller strap that goes across the top of your back also comes loose easily, and if you are by yourself there is no way to tighten it unless you ask a stranger. basically once you put it on, plan on keeping it on for your whole trip if you are on your own. which means figure out a feeding plan and if you use a bottle for breast milk or formula, get a short bottle. yes you can lift the straps forward and over your head but that will loosen the back strap, which if you are one handed is hard to tighten and hold your baby.people have also posted that the seat part at the bottom is removable and i am not sure how that works. it unzippers but if you unzipper it and remove it, it also removes the waist strap. if anyone figures that out, let me know.

I bought this to use on a family trip. For reference, I am 5 feet tall, my daughter is 20 months old and weighs 28 lbs. I wore this to get around in the airport, used it on the train and a shuttle bus. We didn't bring a stroller, so we used this carrier whenever the baby got tired of walking. My back didn't hurt and it took weight off of my arms. My daughter looked comfortable and enjoyed being in the carrier. My only con is it is difficult to put on by yourself. You'll need help everytime you wear it.

I bought this carrier for a trip to FL. I love the extender for the waist so that it fits comfortably on my larger frame. The seat is comfortable for him (my son). He is about 20 lbs and I wore the carrier with him facing out for a lot of our airport travel. The teether part should be located on the front of the carrier not the straps. The extra button on the fasteners is a good added safety feature. It can be difficult to close the back closure by yourself. I also loved that the weight distribution and thickness of the belt relieved a lot of stress that would otherwise be on my back and shoulders. Loving this carrier!!

This is the best thing I ever bought for baby or myself. Just the hip seat alone is a huge relief. It's easy to detach from the harness and keep strapped around my purse straps when I'm in a store. That way, when my toddler inevitably will not want to walk or sit in the buggy anymore, I can carry him on my hip and keep shopping at my leisure. Worth every penny, and will be my only baby shower gift from now on.

Omg!!! This is so amazing I am a big women I got the one with the belt extender and it fits perfectly his weight is distributed of where I can hardly feel that I am carrying him also and his little legs are the the perfect position excuse the photos he just got his shots so he needs his mommy which is why I needed a carrier for these clingy days when he needs me the most

I just received the carrier and used it today for first time for grocery shopping and I like it a lot. My 3 months old son seems fine too. He weighs 16 pounds and I feel support from the carrier. I previously purchased Baby Bjorn carrier from Walmart and it was a bad idea. My husband and I hurt our back and shoulder so bad and were not able to return it without paying restocking and return shipping fees.

Disappointed that the headstrap snap on the left side was broken upon arrival and it did not come with the said teething pads.

This product is what I was looking for. It was pricy but fits comfortably for my size.
