I originally purchased this product due to the many positive reviews. While the product started out solid, the build quality was not high enough to sustain that level of performance. The failures started out by the product not producing enough power to charge my device (when it could upon the first 3 or so charging attempts) or inconsistently delivering power when it did manage to.Now, more seriously, the blue light remains on and the product gets hot all the time while not plugged into a device that needs charging. That is to say if the product is left out or in a bag it will produce heat and dissipate energy through the blue light. I've tried bending and unbending the cable or cleaning off the metal contacts to no avail. I feel like the product is very unsafe to use in this condition even if it still managed to act as a functional charger.Unfortunately these failures occurred after the return window for this product. Suffice to say this purchase was a waste of money. Very disappointed.

It works well. It's a great size for my purse. My daughter liked it. I cheerfully, but reluctantly gave her mine. I will purchase this item again. I really appreciate the more techie type people who've left more informative reviews. Mine is simple. Affordable product that does the job it states on the sale page.

charging overnight, and red light is still flashing, don't know if full or not, or status of power remain ?? no user manual, other then that, seems ok, but price is good , no doubt

I love that it's lightweight and charges Android and Apple. The Apple adapter is tucked inside, almost didn't find it. But this charger is a good buy!

So far, very impressed. I plan to use this with a small folding solar panel in my BOB, so wanted a thin form factor. This battery is the size of an iPhone 4s, so it's perfect size for the pouch inside my Anker 21w folding solar panel. This battery also has built in usb cable for charging micro usb, plus stored lightning adaptor...very clever. Comes with a short usb cable to charge the battery too. It does not get hot, or even warm, when charging, or being charged. It quickly charged my iPhone 6s from 7% to full, and had more juice to spare. Exactly what I needed - highly recommended for size, performance, and price.

This product doesn't for my iPhone or any other that I tried. Using their built in adapter, it does nothing when plugged in.
