Not used to full capacity!
Had these a while now, though I've not used them for a hammock or put any weight on them, they are good for hanging stuff off your pack and I also use one for clamping my tent poles together so it's easier to pitch, overall not bad.

Tow truck stong
I thought since I have a tow truck I might as well test out the strength. These are very strong and I trust them to climb with for sure. I bought these to hang my water bottle and camera gear, I think it will hold just fine lol.

Held 3 tons without a problem. Super light
I bought these for keys mostly. Well they came in I decided to try and break these via overloading them. 3 tons later at work on a crane scale and a bunch of rigging coils, not so much as a scratch. I am very surprised! They will hold my keys just fine...

Purchased for zip line rigging
Saw the many 5 Star reviews on Amazon and purchased the five pack. I'm not a rock climber but needed something sturdy to rig zipline for my two grandchildren. Supposedly rated for something over 5000 lbs and marked with industry standard specification references for climbing carabiners. I internet searched XINDA to learn more about the company and everything I saw online was in Chinese. I don't read Chinese. No way will I suspend my grandchildren from these or any other human for that matter. Look to be great for holding gear, rigging ropes at campsites, etc. but I would never use to support a human. If you need a life safety carabiner go Petzl, Black Diamond, or the like. Petzl carabiners have individual serial numbers and each and every carabiner is load tested and you get paperwork with each explaining the standards of manufacture. Petzl might be three times as costly but it's your life.

Great Value, Seems Strong, Slightly Smaller
These seem to be made in China and I do not mix them with my rock-climbing carabiners, since I do not fully trust the Chinese rating system. They are supposed to be OK for climbing. I use these to secure gear and they do just fine and look nice. They are slightly smaller, 1/2 inch length or so, than my Made in USA ones, but still get the job done. The price is good for gear, I will pay up for non-chinese gear if my life is on the line.
