Molasses Powder, 8 oz.

My husband loves Molasses Cookies and I want to make sure I could make them for him during a crisis situation. Molasses are better for you than white sugar so we actually use it occasionally already. Guess I'd better order more ;-) Fast shipping, well packaged and good quality item.

I make my own yogurt every few days - I love home made yogurt as it is free of any additives that some companies put in their grocery store brands. Mostly sugar. My own yogurt was started with the last bit of store-bought yogurt over a year ago and I still have yogurt pretty much every day that is nothing more than whole milk (made from powdered milk) and yogurt starter. That is IT. But when I eat my yogurt, I also purchase frozen fruit and put in a few strawberries with no sugar and my other item that I made at home - granola. That is what I use this molasses for - I do use honey as well, but the molasses (just a small amount) along with a dash of cinnamon powder, gives my oats, shredded coconut, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds a deep, rich flavor plus molasses adds some vitamin B. I mix up a batch of granola ingredients including this molasses, mash it into a pan and bake at 325 F for 20 minutes and then let it cool completely, break it apart and with my yogurt and frozen fruit, I have a very cheap but flavorful and healthful meal. The molasses adds quite a bit and I do use it in small quantity for home made breads as well. Great stuff to have on hand!

I have used this molasses powder for many dishes and deserts. This product taste as natural as molasses syrup, but since it is dried, you can use it in more ways.

Haven't used this yet, but it will be used after canning seasonto make up homemade packaged meals or sauces.

Bag was ripped open, molasses powder everywhere but it’s not eligible for return. What a pain!!!

Way too expensive for the amount. Will not purchase from them again.
