Great Product, Powerful and perfect size
I am using this for my 1 gallon tank and it is the perfect size. I will probably order more for my other tanks to replace the air stones. I would recommend this to anyone that has an aquarium. There isn't anything negative to comment about this sponge filter. It comes with everything you need for setup. I did use some aquarium safe super glue to hold the air tube in the center. I have several snails in the tank and baby shrimps that will go into this once the tank cycles. Just wanted to be extra safe. I do want to make a suggestion to other buyers. You need to add a check valve to stop the water flow from coming back into the pump. These are super cheap and will save you money and keep your tank safe. You cut your hose, then put the check valve in with the arrow pointing in the right direction. It will prevent the pump from siphoning your fish tank. The water can leak onto the floor, draining your entire tank and damaging your air pump. You are getting great bang for your buck and I would love to see them give another option of a small air pump. I would buy the combo for sure. For now, I use a small pump and can regulate the air with the control valve that comes with the kit. Something I have seen mentioned in the reviews is the suction cups. Mine didn't come with any but I really didn't need them. Maybe it is also something they stopped including. For the price guys, this works super well and I am super happy I was able to find it.

Quality is perfect
Noise is fine, quality is great, super easy to put together, it's the perfect fit for my task and the weight makes it weigh down and go to the bottom, all you have to do is squeeze it once to get the water absorbed the suction works great.

Works great for small tank
We have a 1 gallon tank with a single betta in it. The tank gets a little murky so we decided to get this with a little pump (https://a.co/d/aix9avJ). Works like a charm. No institutions included but none needed. It’s all in the pictures. The tank does look cleaner overall and the valve makes sure I can tune it to the right flow rate and not disturb the small tank. Will provide update in case anything changes.

It works but…
It works fine but if you want to use a bubble stone like I was hoping to, it won’t work. I tried but the smallest bubble stone doesn’t fit.

Efficient and practical
I am very pleased to buy this product after researching for months. It is small but perfect for my 5.5 gallon fish tank. My fish seems to love the new addition. The bubbles can be a bit large but it is okay.

Will fit in a 5gal aquarium as long as there is not too many ornaments.
It would be more effective if the sponge was porous rather than smooth.

Perfect!!
Popped this joker in my small 2.5 gal betta bowl to give some oxygen to my plants and small stone catfish and it has kept my tank clean airy and teeming with life! Buy this and the motor and you will not regret your purchase.

Great but no instructions
The media could not be loaded. I got this filter for my 3 gallon Betta fish aquarium. These filters are better for betta's compared to the usual filters as they sometimes get caught. This one is gentle and effective. There were zero instructions and I had to go look up tons of videos to figure out how to use it. So let me save you the time. Watch my video please. You will need to get an air pump that is compatible with the gallon size of your aquarium. I am using a Whisper 10 air pump that is also available on Amazon. You then need to loop the big tube over the small one and insert the small one into the filter top. Then put the big tube over it, into the filter top. You then need to cut the long tube (cut long) so it can be hooked up to the tube adapter (see photos). Then cut it again to add in the pump flow adjuster. Hook the rest of the tube directly into your air pump. You can test it in a bowl, or cup with water to get the flow set to what you want before you put it in your tank. I hope this helps save someone the hassle of watching videos.Have a beautiful day!

TINY and perfect!
I bought a second one I liked this so much! Im using it to filter water for raising tadpoles, and theyre the perfect size. I did need to get a flow adjustor to make sure that the air wasnt on too strong, but thats easy enough.Standard sponge filter otherwise, easy to set up and dead simple to use.

Working as expected
The media could not be loaded. Yet to see the effectiveness, but seems to be working fine as expected. Easy to setup. It's quite small and doesn't take up much space and ideal for small aquariums. Mine is 2.5 gallon capacity. Price is a bit more than what you can find from other stores.

It’s tiny and so cute!
The media could not be loaded. It’s your classic sponge filter except it’s tiny! It doesn’t have enough space inside for an airstone but it has built in holes so you’ll get those nice smaller bubbles instead of the usual large and loud blub blub ones. It does its job, there’s not much to say about it. I have it running in my 2 gallon shrimp jar as shown in the video.

Needs instructions
This was a bit confusing to assemble as I hadn't used the kinds of valves they sent. I accidentally installed the check valve upsidedown initially and had to reverse it. Once it was set up it worked well. However the bubbles are quite large and so they can be a bit noisy.
