So I purchased this Bamboo Set which has a cute spoon container because it looked great in the pictures. When I received it and looked at The spoons and Spatula, I noticed that the heavy varnish, and much worse, the varnish was peeling off. Then I decided to gently wash these utensils and even rubbed each one with cooking oil. This did not help and the spoons and spatula still did improve.After that, I threw the spoons in the trash.The reason I am giving this two stars and not one star is because I like the included Bamboo Utensil holder. And today I went to a local store and bought two high quality wooden spoons and a high quality wooden spatula. They look amazing in this Bamboo holder. Hence, 2 stars because I like the Bamboo holder.

This fact is hidden and you do not realize it until it arrives and you read the small print on the label. Due to the price to return something I would not stir my dogs food with I have destroyed these utensils.

I bought this item as a I was seeking an addition to the kitchen, but wanted something sustainable and modern looking. I was impressed by the durability and non-staining quality, as any colors from cooking washed off right away.I LOVED the compact tube the utensils fit into, which saves space, and for me that was really important. Totally worth it and exactly as described.

After I read negative reviews I was a bit nervous after placing my order. My wooden utensils arrived perfect. The reason I gave 4 Stars is because the wooden container It came with had a minor crack on the inside bottom and another minor one on the outside near top part. Not a deal breaker but they should inspect more carefully overall I love these. Pleased with my purchase and it matches my bamboo cutting board perfectly.

This is a wonderful collection of the most frequently used tools in any kitchen. Made of organic materials, they are pretty to look at in their container, the handles are a perfect length, and I greatly appreciate a bit more width in the handle. Clean up is a breeze, and they are ready for the next use. I especially like the long handled wooden spoon with a hole in the center for ease of flow and better mixing of ingredients.

As soon as I felt these out of the box I knew I had to return them. There was glue stuck to some of the utensils as well as chunks of the bamboo that weren't properly smoothed. Trying to remove the chunks or glue would cause the coating to come off. Feeling throughout the utensils you find that only some spots have the smooth coating on them and the rest is just bare wood that feels like sandpaper. Was not happy with these at all. Will try to find a different brand.

Arrived with a chip in the top of the slotted spoon and two cracks running from the chipped area down into the slots on the spoon. It could be turned into a large wooden fork pretty easily, but I'm not sure the splinters wood be worth it. Had to return product, wood not recommend.

I opened up my utensils today. I washed them lightly with lukewarm water and soap to know they were clean. I had it in my plastic drying rack, and 2 hours later I hear this HUGE “pop” I get up and go into the kitchen thinking maybe I left my stove on or something. And I hear another loud “pop” So loud that the baby in the upstairs started crying 😞 I’m looking all around and notice the bamboo holder fell to the side and had a huge crack down the entire thing all the way to the bottom. It’s not any use now and that was a main reason I bought it. So I could keep the utensils on the counter. Thank god I wasn’t holding it! The utensils are fine, but I may as well just have gone to the dollar store and bought some wooden utensils.

Usually i give a 5 star even it has little dent that don’t effect any major functions of the stuffFirst i found 1 spatula has a little dent on the handle, i was thinking, that’s okay no biggie. I was about to let it goBut then, i found 1 spatula split.I dont know Which cause itHandling?From the store?Or shipping?Im quite disappointed

Such a lovely addition to my kitchen. Natural, simple and such a high quality finish.Have already given details to a family member who caught the eye of this product. She also admired the design and finish.
