These staples work in Craftsman model 6843
I purchased these Arrow Fastener 60430 604 Wide Crown Swingline Heavy Duty 1/4-Inch Staples, for my old Sears Craftsman Heavy duty Stapler, model 96843 (as indicated on my stapler, but the "9" has been dropped since my purchase, so it is just "6843" now). I have looked all over for comparable brands that would work in this old staple gun and finally found it in this pack of 1000. I held my breath as I ordered hoping, first, that they would fit this stapler, and secondly, that the sleeves of staples weren't broken into pieces as I had read on several posts. I am very pleased as the staples work perfectly in my Craftsman staple gun and no sleeves of staples were broken in this pack. It may have been because the staples were packed in a box with other Amazon merchandise, but I can only surmise this. I am very pleased with these staples for use in this Craftsman staple gun, as I have been to many local retailers, buying several packs of different staples, but none fit this stapler. These work.....finally!!

Fit the my trusty old Swingline 800 series tacker beautifully!
I recently ran out of staples for my old Swingline tacker. For those of you who have one of these: yes, I had a huge stock!Shopping around hasn't been easy. I went to several (including big box) stores around here; but they didn't have them. Forget online stores; they're clueless. But this is the stuff you need.Reason I didn't find them in retail stores, even though I had them in my hands in several of them: the "actual size" image on the box is DEAD wrong!See my photo. The TRUE actual size can be seen by looking at the staple itself. The "actual size" on the box... nowhere close. Don't ask me why; but it's a damn shame.Yes, they are 1/4" long, by whatever the width is. And they'll fit your "old" Swingline just fine. And I'm stapling everything in sight :-)
