The book seems to a used one with tear and crumble marks on the top cover . It does not look to be brand new at all .

It was delivered the other day on the 18th other stuff that came very quickly and I was looking the movie as I have problems reading but it is great and I will give it to a friend who will enjoy this book and better than me and what a man Steve Biko was and Godbless him!

'Cry Freedom' is an historical, heartfelt and true story of the struggle against apartheid. The conditions in the black 'townships' are clearly depicted and the brutality dealt to those who struggled against the white regime is presented convincingly and with no hold barred, although it doe not contain graphic violence. Donald Wood's and his family's escape from South Africa is thrilling. The characters are real and so is the story. I thoroughly recommend 'Cry Freedom'.

História interessante, muito bem escrita. Mostra os problemas enfrentados pelos negros na Africa do Sul. Vale a pena se lido.
