Grows and Grows and Grows ...
Java moss is good quality, healthy, and growing well in my shrimp tank and freshwater aquarium. Stated off a bit brownish, but quickly greened up beautifully and continues to grow and grow. Great purchase.

Don't buy, shredded, will take years to grow
I bought 3 of them at once. What a waste of money l. Came sealed with no leaks but visibly brown which I thought was normal since it was mailed. But after putting it in my tank, they fell apart. They were shredded pieces of java moss. Not a decent sized plant at all. They settled on my substrate, like grass, most is brown and it provided no cover for my fry. At all. The pieces were tiny. It will probably take 2 years grows and provides adequate coverage. I ended up buying some from a different supplier and for the same price, not only did I not get any brown, I got a gallon zip lock full and it's 2 weeks old and thriving and my fry swing into it for cover. I actually split it into 2 different tanks. Unlike this product which was useless. Look for another seller that doesn't shred their java moss

Healthy Java moss
The Java moss arrived fast. It was packaged well and was not melted or brown. I rehydrated it and gave it’s a little quarantine with daily water changes to make sure there was no hitch hikers which I was happy there appears not to be any. The Java moss is healthy and thriving, already growing in the moss ball forms. Although I feel like the amount was small in size I am happy with the quality that arrived and hope it continues to grow.

Good value
Wow! Plants arrived in great shape. Even sat inside my apartment for a few days but they turned out fine. Ordered 2, but actually got 3 so what was a nice surprise.

Meh… It has weird brown things growing in it.
This Java moss was ok. It came in half dead and had snails on it. I glued it to a rock and put it in my aquarium! It looks pretty cool but had some downsides. First, the picture looks nothing like it, mine had these weird goopy brown things growing in it and looks dead. It also has been about a little under a year, and has had no growth. I mean it’s still alive so it’s hearty, but if you buy this product you might want to do some research and trimming about this specific plant, I sure don’t want goopy brown things in my tank, thats for sure. It was a little overpriced so, would I recommend this product? To someone that doesn’t have an affordable aquarium plant shop near them yes. But be careful, don't order it in the dead of summer. It will dry out! 3 stars.

A gamble on how much you get
Came in a small little bag, and a bit of the clump was brown and a dark green. Separated it a bit and stuck it in my aquarium, tying some to lava rocks and letting others just float or sink wherever. After a while didn't think it was gonna grow, but eventually after like a month or two noticed a bunch of very small tiny green shoots popping up all over the moss branches. Also it seems these little green shoots are actually attaching themselves to the rocks. So it will grow, but takes a while to adapt and needs light to do so. Edit/Update: So updating this review, and lowering my review score... Made another order for this since the first one was so good. When the second one came, what I got was beyond disappointing. The first I ordered came in a little bag that was FULL and gave me enough to cover multiple rocks - like 4-6 rocks. The second order I got gave me a bag with a TINY little pathetic clump that didn't even fill half the small bag it came in. Was only enough for two tiny little rocks. I would not recommend this as it's a gamble as to whether you get a tiny clump or not. The second batch was not worth the money spent and the time it took to get delivered. I got so little the second time I could literally have cut off a small bit from the first batch that grew in another aquarium and I would have had more than what they sent me the second order. Also one more thing, while the first order was great and grew very BIG I did get detritus worms, lots of tiny worms that just appeared out of nowhere and judging by some of the other reviews on here it seems they probably came from this moss. I attached a picture that shows the comparison. First pic was my first order, and second pic was the pathetic clump I got in my second order.

Not bad and a bonus
It can quicker than my other two orders. I received two bags of food chunks and for my 10 gal should be done if not too much. Mixed green and brown but from what I understand, that is fairly normal. We will give it a week and see how it goes.

Java Moss
It arrived mostly brown but appears to be getting more green as its going through its adjustment period. I giving 5 stars because it was a fair amount and I think it will become all green and thrive. Its not as vibrant as my Christmas moss.
