In one single day, walking my dog went from being a total nightmare to the most relaxing activity ever. I have a 1 year old golden retriever and almost 60 pounds already and he pulls sooo much it made walking him the worst part of my day. Looked at a few videos on YouTube and the gentle leader seemed promising so I ordered it online but i didnt expect it to work so well. Ofcourse ur dogs going to try to get it off at first so i suggest following the instructions from the booklet and giving ur dog lots of treats to distract him a bit and make the whole experience a positive one for them. For my dog it look maybe 30 mins to be somewhat okay with it but that's because he already knew the leave it command and he is generally okay with things like these.. but it's totally normal to take longer, so be patient with ur dog. Overall improved our walks 150 percent so i totally recommend. The only con that i have to give is that it is somewhat overpriced. It's mechanism is not that complicated either but since they didn't sell this where i live i had no other option. But bottomline, very satisfied even though a bit expensive.

My Labrador had the worst walk ever and would put things in his mouth and fall sick. Now his walk has improved tremendously and before he starts to eat anything I give a gentle nudge and he stops. It’s the best leash ever!

Great product! The part over the nose fits our Labrador cross golden retriever perfectly but the part around the neck when tightened has lots of extra fabric hanging which has to be tied or tucked around so it doesn’t dangle down and annoy her .

We have a 12 month old Golden Retirever that we couldn't walk as she was a horrible puller, even on a choker chain. Put this leader on and she was a different puppy. She listens, she walks and doesn't pul. I't amazing.

Doesn't work

It took a few walks for my pound-pup to get used to it, but now she doesn't mind it at all. It was uncomfortable for her at first and she tried to rub her nose in the ground and pull at it with her paws to get it off. After employing the use of some treats and patience, we are now walking pull-free on our walks.
