Oral Hygiene Accessories Water Hose Plastic Handle Compatible with Waterpik Oral Irrigator Wp-100 WP-900

Easy and quick fix, WP is back to perfect functioning! (my WaterPik's original hose cracked apart at the base of the handle; the leaking made it unusable). fyi the parts included in this 'kit' are: 1 handle/hose assembly, 2 screws, 1 small circular piece of fabric "filter" material (it's white or off-white color, very small-- about the diameter of a pencil eraser)-- see my picture of this part because it is easy to miss in the packaging and toss out. (I didn't need the 2 included screws, because I used the ones already on my waterpik). During install, unscrew the hose/handle assembly from the underside of the waterpik base, and after detaching the hose/handle plug, look for the original fabric filter material inside where the hose was connected (looks similar to my picture). Replace the old filter material with the new one from this kit, then attach the new handle/hose plug to the same compartment, thread the tubing into the cover, and replace the two screws.

This part broke on my waterpik. Now the unit is working again and i am happy.

Works Ok, but I preferred the old design that allowed the resevoir to be removed in one step. For some strange reason, the designers though it would be a good idea to add a lid that now requires an awkward two step process to remove and refill the resevoir. Very poor decision and annoying every time I fill the thing. Wish my older unit hadn't broken.

UPDATE (11/30/23): I changed my rating to one star. The hose began to leak for the last few days. Today, it got worse. I probably have to buy a new Waterpik :(UPDATE: The new handle is bit wider than my old one, so it doesn't sit securely in the holder. To correct this, I removed the handle and used my hair dryer to soften the plastic holder. I then put the handle back and let the plastic harden. The handle now sits perfectly in place.My old Waterpik hose began to leak. I found this replacement handle in Amazon and it fits my model #150 perfectly! It was very easy to replace and took me less than 2 minutes. Tools you’ll need -- a small positive screwdriver and a needle.Direction:1) Unplug the unit and turn it upside down.2) Remove the two small screws attached at the base and slide the old hose and the handle out.3) Remove the very tiny round plastic gasket inside the main unit with a needle and replace it with the new one provided in the package. (Try not to sneeze when you take this out as it is VERY tiny!)4) Attach the replacement handle with the screws provided or use your old ones. Push the hose back in its groove and you're done!

This product was easy to install and of high quality for the cost. Very happy and saved having to purchase a whole new machine. Thanks !

What I don't like about this product is the water comes out as soon as you turn the machine on. The blue button has to be held in to prevent the water from jetting out so you need two hands to prevent water going all over the place unless the tip is already in your mouth. The original Water Pic handle had an on and off switch that allowed you to turn on the machine and then use the switch to get the water jet after you had it in your mouth. This handle does not have that feature which is why I don't give it a higher rating.
