Thief's Market Dice Game

Super addictive gaming, good for kids 7+, they get the idea in 10-15 minutes, good also as a filler for heavy gamers, good introduction to heavier games, it's fun and it takes about 30 minutes, small enough to take it on a restaurant table, good game for your bucks.

I backed this on Kickstarter as a fan of the designer's other games. The components are quite nice, especially the chunky, easy to read dice. There are lots of meaningful decisions to be made as you decide whether to steal from the middle, or another player. Turn order is easy to overlook but is vital, particularly as the game progresses. There are multiple paths to win, and what can seem like a landslide victory can turn quite quickly into a close loss. The low price, quick explanation time, and short playtime will make this one hit our gaming table often.

Picked this up an Gen Con and have played it a few times. Good fun game. Fairly quick. Smart dice stealing mechanic. Nice art on cards.

Great game. I was a backer on Kickstarter and I am getting a few more to have around as gifts.

Kickstarter backer.The game is too long, too random, and offers too few ways to actually score points. A lot of the cards are meaningless, and a couple are very overpowered. Overall, the game was just very boring and everyone was glad it ended. Afterwards, I asked if anyone wanted the game, and there were no takers. I threw it in the trash.

Instructions take a read or two but stick with it. Great game.

We love this game and it is easy to travel with.
