Kaufman Kona Digital Printed 24in Color Chart Panel Multi Fabric

This is quite a unique panel and I'm pleased with the quality of the fabric. I bought several panels to make a colorful, summer tote. Another reviewer thought that some of the colors were difficult to tell apart, if you were using it as a color guide. Yes, indeed they are, but if you have a good eye for color, you can see a definite difference. They are slightly different shades with slightly different casts. This manufacturer does not skimp on solid color fabric choices. Yes, you can also buy individual fabric samples of each color, but the cost would be very much higher. I think this is an ideal compromise.

On the fabric piece itself, it states not an exact match. This is true. It does not match some of the kona fabrics. I ended up having to buy the kona color card. I compared both. This fabric piece is not a good piece if you intend to match fabrics or use in your business. If you want to just make something such as a purse, then go for it.

I was surprised at how many of the squares are exactly the same color, even with great light. When I hold up colors to the panel, it will match two, sometimes three squares.

Is great for selecting matching colors for room decor or for matching fabrics.

This is not a traditional Kona Color Card with 303 swatches of RK solids glued to a folding cardstock base. This is a fabric panel. The colors are digitally printed, therefore won't be exact matches to solids that you would purchase. I'm giving it 4 stars simply because the colors aren't exact as a traditional color card would have, and I don't see that disclaimer in the description.I didn't realize that it was a fabric panel before I made my purchase, and while I'm disappointed, I know I can still make something pretty with it.I just don't want anyone else to make the mistake I did.

If you just want a fabric panel of paint chips, it's cool, but totally useless for project planning or color identification. None of the colors match any of the Kona solids I have.

Do not use this panel if you intend to match and choose fabrics. The colors do not match with any precision.
