Great range and easy setup
I just got my Netfun WiFi Extender-300Mbps setup and connected to my home network.First: I scanned the QR code for the 18 month extended warranty. It was easy to complete the very few questions to register. I believe in registering everything I buy. It has saved me a lot a money and frustration down the road. The year and a half warranty is unusual in the home electronics.Second: I am very pleased with the clear instructions. At first I saw the tiny user setup paper and was worried this was just another set of instructions that were incomplete and not clearly written. But Netfun obviously made an effort to help the customer understand the setup process. I might suggest blank spaces be put on the instruction sheet to record the MAC, Serial number, defaults- password, IP, URL.Third: I was given TWO methods of setup, mobile phone and computer. Both were very simple. Then it goes on to explain the other modes of operation. Explanations were clear well defined.I installed the Netfun Extender in my house garage. It is the opposite end of my home. I wanted to extend my network signal to my workshop about 130ft away from the garage. I checked to see how strong the signal strength was at the fringe of my network area. I was happy to see 4 of 5 bars signal strength inside the metal building. The entire process from opening the box to complete installation was about 30 minutes. By far the easiest install of an extender I have done.Netfun has my attention. I will be looking for more products from them.Attached is a picture of the extender in my garage. You can see the Netfun Extender in very lower right corner. The distance to the workshop can be seen outside. (In the center of the photo is the TP-Link extender I am replacing) Just a few more simple steps to setup, plug in wall, and connect the security camera in the shop.

Very easy to setup and use WIFI repeater/Router/AP/Client/Bridge
I was having an issue using WIFI with a laptop in a room under solar panels (using WIFI under solar panels is very challenging and doesn't always work). I did some research and found this 300M WIFI repeater/Router/AP/Client/Bridge. The picture and write-up sounded like so many other products so I looked at the price (which was lower than other similar products) and placed my order. I received my package and proceeded to do the setup. I have a NetGear Nighthawk router and almost purchased the NetGear WIFI repeater but the reviews weren't good. The setup instructions gave 2 options to use for the setup. I used option #2 Connect via Mobile Phone. It only took about 10 minutes and I was on my way to perform connect/speed tests. The speed using the WIFI repeater was very impressive and so easy to use! I haven't had time to test all of the features but one feature that interests me is the AP mode to use in hotels - I plan on taking the WIFI Repeater with me on vacation to test it out.

Useless Junk
I work from home and have been using an extender for a couple of years to increase the internet strength in my home office (40-50 ft from the router). We had a couple of roommates move in and there are usually 2 people streaming off the extender in addition to my computer and phone, so the old extender is no longer strong enough.Decided to upgrade to one that supported more devices and more Sq ft. The Netfun extender is very easy to install and connect to, but it actually makes my connection worse. I tried it at different locations around the house and could not get it to improve.I eventually plugged it in 5 feet from the router and ran a speed test while sitting between the two. First pic is the speed test for the Netfun router. Second is the router.I will be returning this useless thing.

For me not a great choice (Please read entire review)
When I opened the package and read the instructions there was a warning to remember to unplug the device in a thunderstorm. This is good advice, but I wonder why there was not some sort of protection built into the unit because what if you are not home when the storm beginsI plugged the unit into the ups and my phone that sees networks for the entire street did not see this unit. I unplugged the unit from the UPS and plugged it into an outlet that is 4' above the floor and stood near it and it still did not see the network.I thought OK I will contact the manufacturer, because there is this notice in the manual in large type if you have any questions contact us, but has not contact information.I decided to send it back--------------- I have updated my original rating from one to four stars based on the exemplary customer support provided by a member of their customer support team. The representative expressed genuine concern, replaced the unit with a different model, and made certain my money was refunded.

Gives great coverage
I like how easy it was to set up my TV at my workshop, which is 70 feet away from the house works great on the Internet I can stream videos, movies, Internet, anything I want it works absolutely great but I do have one problem I cannot figure out for some reason my phone will not connect to the Internet through it my iPhone connects to the extender, but every time it says no Internet and my TV will be working right away TV works great right next to my phone and it’s on there and it’s got Internet connection but my phone always says no Internet connection. What can I do about this? Anybody have the same problem with an iPhone
