Radico Organic Mahogany

Loved that it’s USDA Organic certified no irritation or burning sensation during application.

Package arrived earlier than expected. It came nicely packaged with gloves, brush and hair cap. The preparation is easy, all you have to do is just mix it with water. The downside of this product is that there were quite a lot of lumps in it. Although I tried to get rid of them, some still ended up in my hair annoyingly. The smell of the product is quite strong just as the usual henna and will probably linger in your hair for a little while, but it is nothing to be afraid of. I am especially pleased with the colour. I got a little bit afraid because as I was washing it the water coming out of my hair was green. It also stained my bathtub, but it turned out that it just takes a scrub with some soap to clean it completely. My hair is medium brown and after leaving the product in it for two hours my hair really has a dark mahogany colour. Something that is impossible with just pure henna. I have some light (almost blond) hair in the front and they turned out as light brown, so maybe I would recommend if you are naturally blond/light brown, you should let it stay in your hair for longer, or apply multiple times. Overall I would recommend this brand because it is quite difficult to find a pure herbal hair dye in so many shades. I definitely want to try more of their products in the future!

Si esperan un tinte caoba, lo compren, no es caoba, ni caoba oscuro ni caoba clero. Es marrón oscuro casi negro. Yo soy rubia y se me ha quedado casi negro verdoso; en un pelo oscuro de quedará negro del todo.

Ich habe schon viele natürliche Henna Farben probiert und mir gefällt diese am Besten. Das Pulver ist schön fein und lässt sich gut anrühren. Geruch für Henna typisch, ich finde ihn angenehmer als Chemie Geruch. Meine wenigen grauen Haare werden gut abgedeckt, nach 2,3 Wochen schimmert es aber wieder hell durch. Für meine empfindliche zu Schuppen neigender Kopfhaut ist es auch angenehm und reduziert Juckreiz und Schuppen. Meine Haare glänzen und sind fester geworden, sodass ich sie wieder länger tragen kann.

I have not used this yet and I plan to mix this with the brown color to get like a nice chocolate color for summer. My grays, I will use the Wella color mask in gold to blend it all. My barber asked me how I got three shades of brown in my hair for the winter. I told him I use henna and the chocolate Wella mask.
