Anatomy for Artists: A Visual Guide

At the moment, I am studying Fine Art and want to perfect my figure drawings. What I like so much about this book is there is both male and female models - not the usual fare where the female figure is the primary focus.The book has been well designed and laid out. It shows the body of an elderly man and a large lady, to aid understanding how the body changes with age and excess weight. Both the images and descriptions are clear.It is certainly a book I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to study and draw the figure.I gave the book five stars because it is excellent - however, if I could give the delivery a rating it would be less than zero.I did not spend over £30 on a book to have it arrive in such a shoddy condition. I submitted a return within 5 mins of opening the packaging and have ordered one from my University Art Centre book shop instead. In future I will buy my books from elsewhere. I am tired of book orders from Amazon arriving scuffed and damaged.

Excellent. Use it a a reference book for drawing. Clears up a lot of the muscle definition and separation when drawing the human body.

Fabulous book!Excellent quality.This will be very useful in my endeavours to draw humans as they should be if wanting accuracy. Love it!

Large, quality images of many different poses with male and female models. Anatomical references are very helpful.
