Turbie Twist White Super-Absorbent Hair Towel Cotton (2)

I had one of these towels for about twenty five years, and loved it like crazy until I lost it while housesitting last summer. The modern version is quite disappointing by comparison. This fabric is thin, and it leaves fuzzy stuff on my face. (The fabric in the original Turbie Towel was nice and thick, really good quality terrycloth.) I also think the new version is smaller than the old ones. My chief complaint is that it uses a little loop of elastic to hold the twisted towel in the back. It’s awkward to twist it and pull the end through the elastic loop. The old version had a nice big button and a sturdy loop to fasten it, and was relatively easy to use. Even so, this new one does a decent job of absorbing water from my chin-length hair, and it does stay on my head while I’m attending to other tasks like putting in my contact lenses.

I love this product. Terry cloth is super soft and dries hair quickly. It does better than ones made of Microsoft. Wished they had more colors.

The concept of this item is great. However, they need to be both longer and wider to be able to twist, go back over your head, and tuck under the towel at the back of your head. They are even too small for my seven-year-old daughters’ heads. I have to twist them then tuck them into the side by my ear so I don’t pull them off the top front part of my hair which makes for an awkward feeling. The 100% cotton towel feels very nice and is sufficiently absorbent.

Turbie Twist cotton soaks up moisture better than any other material. So many micro fiber wraps out there. Please keep making the cotton.

This is the real deal - the cotton Turbie Twist from years ago. I can't stand the micro-fiber they use to makethem with now, and it's almost impossible to find the original Turbie Twist. My shipment came in immediately, also.

It's thin and does what it's suppose to do. I just wish it was a few more inches longer, then i would love it.
