Wonderfully wicked
This is the last in the series and I’m sad to say goodbye to the notorious ladies. I absolutely loved this series. This is about Philippa who loses beloved husband George who turns out to be the most vile villain. He hid his true self and criminal activities from her. When she finds out she is devastated. Before she married her husband 5 years ago, she had been in love with Roland the Duke of Northwich. He was in love with her and asked her to wait for him. But while he was away, Pippa was courted by George who told her lies about Roland. Believing the worst of Roland she married George and hated Roland with all her heart. Roland never stopped loving Pippa and suffered from a broken heart for 5 years. When Pippa and her daughter get attacked by her husband's criminal gang, Roland offers her his protection. When they work together to discover the depth of George’s ill deeds, Pippa realises what a mistake she made all those years ago. It’s a story of deceipt, betrayal, forgiveness and love. It's beautifully heart breaking, sensual and steamy. Perfect ending to a gem of a series.

A triumphant conclusion to the series
This is a triumphant end to the series. The plot is full of emotional twists and turns, as well as brilliantly crafted characters. It is a story that gets a bit steamy and will keep you enthralled from start to finish. I am sorry to see the completion of the series.

Too much porn
I loved the story, although i guessed the villainess early on. The low star rating is down to the amount of pages that i had to pass over due to pornagraphic content. Not a book you can share with a teenage daughter. Another scene with char char would have been much better

Mmm.... not one of Scarlett Scott's best.
I liked both characters in this story. The little girl adorable. The villain a surprise. But there was something missing. I found myself for the first time skipping pages in a Scarlett Scott book! Lots of pages! I found the emotional outpouring of both characters a bit annoying. Too much. The one thing a did love and Miss Scott was bang on . The male character, Roland ( not my favourite ) declaring his love first. I shall read the next book. I just hope I don't skip too many pages.

A particularly wonderful hero & a heroine who betrayed him get a second chance - if she survives
“Lady Brazen” is the 6th and final fantastic book in the ‘Notorious Ladies of London’ series by Scarlett Scott. You definitely need not have read any of the others in the series in order to be enthralled with this one.Pippa is content with her life. She has George, a husband who is devoted to her, a baby she adores, a home in the most fashionable part of London, and every creature comfort imaginable. After her husband suddenly dies, she is shocked and grieved but determined to carry on for the sake of their daughter. Pippa is stunned and confused when circumstances reveal that everything she thought she knew about her husband was a lie. Roland, the Duke of Northwich, is involved in an investigation that deals with her late husband’s dirty business dealings. Five years previously, Pippa jilted Roland in order to marry George, informing him in writing and never giving him an explanation that made sense. She broke his heart, but he’ll still do anything possible to protect her when it becomes all too apparent that she’s in danger. He can’t help her though, if she won’t trust him. The lies she was told are hard for her to move past, but even worse than that, she no longer trusts herself to ever have sound judgment and make good decisions.“You are not damaged, Pippa.”“But I am. I do not know if I can never truly trust anyone again.”Pippa is incredibly resilient as she comes to terms with the staggering reality of the consequences of her own naivete and bad choices. Roland is an extraordinary character. After Pippa broke his heart, the last thing he wants to do is still care about her, but he just can’t help it. He’s a wonderfully smart, strong and sensitive man. I liked the pride he takes in the Iroquois heritage he gets from his mother, and the patience he has with Pippa despite how unfairly she’s treated him. Roland will also melt your heart with his treatment of Pippa’s sweet little girl, who also happens to be an adorable character.I thought this was an engaging story with mystery, drama, romance, passion and danger. As the plot unfolded, I could empathize more and more with both of the lead characters and was anxious for them to get the ‘happy ever after’ they so richly deserved. I was excited to find out at the very end of the book that one of the most important secondary characters in this story is going to get a book of his own to start a new series. I pre-ordered it already because Scarlett Scott is an author who never disappoints!

🖤 Roland & Pippa 🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/6.🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.This books had tons of revelations for Lady Pippa , it was a journey for her to be in a place where she could out her trust in someone again.Of course Roland destroyed all her misconceptions about him and her late husband and little by little she gave him her trust without her even knowing.I knew there was something that happened between them before she married but i never thought that they were engaged once and everything crumbled down. Roland was pinning for Pippa since he first saw her many years ago and that didn't changed even when he thought that he "hated" her. Also the fact they had little Robbie together helps matters. I really loved their relationship and how Roland took care of everything no matter what Pippa said. I just love Roland, he might be my favorite male character in the series.I had a great time with this series so i will be reading more by Scarlett.

A great end to this series - Fabulous !
I absolutely loved this installment - I loved Pippa right from when I read about her in Tilly's story.Roland and Pippa I think are the couple who has the maximum amount of slowburn in this series - Ms. Scott always wow me with intimate scenes but this book was ohh so better with the slowburn ( I think Roland and Pippa deserved it )Char Char I love you - An excellent addition to the storyline and to discover who is "Char Char " - please read the book !!!!!Romance Level: 4.5/5Steam Level : Lovemaking scenes with kisses

Good Story
Philippa was a young widow with a small daughter when she found out her dead husband was an evil, lying scoundrel. One of her husbands evil cohorts were looking for something her husband had hidden so they ransacked her house. Roland, the Duke of Northwich, who had loved Pippa for years, was determined to protect her and her daughter until they determined who her husbands partners were. Pippa husband had deceived her about Roland when they were young and in love so she married the scoundrel. In a effort to protect Pippa and her daughter Roland has them stay with him in his home. All the lies and deceit are found out and Pippa learns the truth and Roland and his love for her for years. This was an enjoyable story but not as steamy as mentioned in the blurb. I believe my kindle was at least 60% read before is got a bit steamy.

TRUE LOVE CONQUERS ALL
Roland, Duke of Northwich, grew up with a cold father but with a loving mother who shared her American Oneida heritage with her beloved son. He fell deeply in love with Lady Philiippa Morgan when they met at his aunt's house party 5 years ago. He planned to court her when he returned from his trip to visit his mother's Oneida relatives in NY. But fate intervened and Pippa ended up the victim of a manipulative criminal George Shaw, whom she married. Now a widow with a 2 year old daughter, Roland has the task of informing her about the lies and crimes of the man she married. At first, Pippa is furious with the Duke and refuses to believe him. But when her home is broken into and she is attacked, she starts to look for evidence of his guilt. Pippa realizes her married life was all a lie and her husband's past crimes bring devastation and danger to her and her daughter. Roland never stopped loving the young girl who stole his heart - even though she believed the lies she was told. He proposes marriage as the solution to keep them both safe - a marriage of convenience. Reluctantly, Pippa agrees. But with each encounter with Roland, she is forced to accept the fact she put her faith in the wrong man - Roland is kind, gentle and understanding, allowing her to make her own choices. Roland and Pippa work together with Chief Inspector Stone to unmask the partners of her dead husband threatening her and uncover the secret life of the criminal she married. Learning the truth of how she was the victim of a scoundrel, Pippa begins to trust Roland and once again falls in love with him. A beautiful story of true love and the adversities it conquers - the lies uncovered and the truth finally exposes the evil that destroyed so many lives. An amazing romance of true love tested that never dies and faithfulness - Roland never gave in to misery & despair when his world collapsed - he never let lies & evil change the goodness & beauty of his heart and soul. Pippa, being young, allowed evil to turn her heart, but was given another chance to reclaim that precious gift. A great love story and wonderful conclusion to a fabulous series!!
