Beautiful dragon fly & praying mantis.For the dragon fly, I cut the stake a little and put it into the ground on an angle. I like the dragon fly hovering over the greens. I plan to bring the stake higher as the sedums grow taller. It gets a little windy in our area, just hope it doesn’t fly off. I will see about tightening the grip a little more.The praying mantis has a nice home, nestled close to ornamental grass. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought the mantis from modernartisans two years ago for myself. All my gardening friends admired it. When I asked my family members what they would like to have for a certain special occasion the choice had been the mantis and the dragonfly . Both had been much appreciated gifts.With so much flimsy, throw away things surrounding us it is pleasant to find a well designed, carefully made and lasting item at a reasonable price. Quality production.I would recommend buying it for those who like this type of large, attractive garden ornament. It is nice for a massive pot too.

I had to install a downspout at the front of the porch and divert water to avoid the pond. Might as well make it cute. This dragonfly is hefty copper. Nothing about it is flimsy and it has solid craftsman welds and easy to see it's gonna last longer than me. Im going to collect every critter they make.

I bought this present as a gift for my mother and she loved it. It has the charm of an item bought at an artisan street market yet I was able to simply purchase it online and have it arrive at the front door. Seems like the copper would tarnish outside after not too long, but since it has just been put outside I couldn't say if that's true or not. Great gift for a gardener.

I like this dragonfly! The patina is not natural, and I would have preferred a natural copper finish, but it still looks really nice. It is not a huge piece at all, so be prepared to find a prominent spot where it can be readily seen.
