Straight to the point
I used this during my nursing school when I had to take Legal and it was definitely very informative. It is straight to the point and doesn't leave you confused as many other law books do for me.

Required reading, class material for NSG 490
It had alot of case scenarios. The law, ethics, and reasoning behind best practice was well explained. The book and the class were not well integrated. My thought is that it is not the fault of the publisher, but of the school of nursing. There was not a publisher-based learning module involved. You have to rely on a clear syllabus which is not always there.

All about patients nothing about nurses
This book was written clearly and concisely. It's major flaw for me was that it wasn't really about Nursing law and ethics. Rather it was a book more about medical law and medical ethics. Very little had to do with the law and how it relates to nurses, rather it had to with the law and how it relates to patients. However, there are tons of books on this subject. I want a book dealing with nurses!

School requirement
Even though this was a school requirement, I found it easy to understand. I really liked the way they bought up samples of related laws and ethics that had actually occurred.
