Installation was very quick once I measured out where I wanted it, longest effort was just cleaning the areas I would attach it to.The permanent fixture option is solid, but I do wish the temporary suction cups had a little stronger hold. I know you would want to be able to quickly take it down in a hotel, but just a smidge more grip would go a long way.Surprised at the reflective surface on the other side, I think it actually improved the temperature of the space which was a big bonus!

Just tried this out for the first time and was very happy with the results. I bought this to use in the West facing window of our addition where we have projector TV. During the summer there's too much light from that window into the late evening that hits the screen. This solved that problem well. The blind is made of really nice soft pliable material and they give you plenty of options to mount it. It's also heavy enough that it hangs down flat blocking out all light. I may have to consider more for the other windows.

Daughter won't sleep without it! We attach this shade directly to the window since we are renters. After 2 years, the suction cups have gradually become less effective and we used the adhesive velcro directly on the windows. Living in Arizona, the heat of the sun will cause the adhesive to melt on the glass and on the piece that adheres to the shade itself. So we have been facing an issue with it falling off during day time naps. I plan on getting creative though because this is the only thing that actually blocks out light. I've tried multiple brands of alleged "black-out" curtains and none of them compare to this reflective fabric. I notice a considerable temperature difference in her room as well.
