HearthSense Dual Fuel Ventless Infrared Plaque Heater With Base and Blower - 30,000 BTU, T-Stat Control - Model# IR26T-BB-R (Renewed)

This reconditioned (virtually new-used and recertified at an attractive price), 30.000 BTU, dual fuel (Propane or Natural Gas, but only one fuel at a time), radiant heater with pilot light and a Thermostat fills my need. I am having to heat new house construction during the finish work phase and will not have the HVAC Natural Gas until after that work is done. I had to purchase a a standard Propane regulator & bottle to make that happen. Everything worked according to the instructions. I am satisfied with its temporary service on Propane. Once that need goes away, I will purchase a Natural Gas Regulator and test it on a spare Natural Gas tap I had installed in my home. That way, I will have a backup Natural Gas Space Heater in the event of the temporary loss of electricity once the home is complete. I expect that the Natural Gas commissioning effort will go with the same ease as accomplished on the temporary Propane.

The media could not be loaded.  This little heater is way more than I had ever thought it could be... The BTU Radiant heat it puts out is Unbelievable such a blessing to the cold house we have had to suffer in the past. I'm more than happy with the purchase that I have bought one more for the other room to make the house like so warm and toasty for the winter to come. They warned two rooms evenly each of them I placed apart to where we can Walk around the house with out cold spots. Once you warm up the walls you can turn down the heater to low and leave it the rest of the day. They are nice additions to your house clean burning no smell you will like your heater very much so.. clean cut nice paint and grill is very up to date slim out of the way of the traffic and easy to set up, lites fast heats quickly another words you get more heater than you could ever expect from the looks of it. We like the heater very muchAnd on high it kicks on and off like it should .The pilot stays lit where either burning up or freezing to death. You know I don't know the pilot when you turn the thermostat down to low and the pilot light goes out and it never comes back on I have to relight the thing again I'm not happy at all

This is a great little heater! It was really easy to install, only took a few minutes to hook up the fuel line and check for leaks, then another minute for the pilot light to stay lit. It heated the room quickly, and the flame is also aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

For heating my house but the knob and pilot light didn't work I sent it back to Indiana

The heater turns itself completely off (pilot light too) when the fan blower comes on. The heater is a nice supplement for my basement on cold days. I just have to make sure the fan is set to off.

Hooked up to natural gas easily and puts out great heat.

This heater is perfect for our backporch greenhouse/sitting area! Easy to light and control the heat level.
