Grains and Nut butter is 2 minutes!!!
AH, this blender is AWESOME! As the description states, it is small yet mighty. It is ver powerful! Remember that this vase works best with hard grains and nuts, not for small individual smoothies! the reason for this is because the vase does not come with a close on seal lid only the stirring lid as shown on the picture. But by all means, if you think you can use it for smoothies or other liquid stuff, use it, just make sure you place a lid on the vase and secure it. I have found an OYSTER brand lid from the glass blenders works great. The spatula is soft but it get the last finger licking pudding or butter out of the vase. Very happy with my purchase! :)

Easy to use/clean, and the perfect size
Love using this to make banana ice cream, but also great for hummus, nut butters, and other thick dips or spreads.

Bien pour les petites quantités, mais un peu salissant

It's exactly what I wanted.
First This is not perfect, But it does exactly what I was looking for. First I considered the regular twister Jar, but I didn't want the bulk of storing it and I would hardly make anything that would warrant the portion size it can deliver. And since this was about half the price of the large one and included the spatula I found it a good addition to my Wildside Jar.What was I looking for? Basically I wanted something that I could make icecream/sorbet/forzen yogurt with relative ease and consistent results, and hopefully being able to use it as a food processor. The icecream recipes for the wildside never really worked out as well as I would have liked, so I have been pleasantly surprised with the frozen yogurt and sorbet I've made. I'll toss in some frozen fruit, a bit of agave and a tiny bit of water (more on that later), and in 50 seconds I have a perfect serving of Sorbet (depending on your definition of sorbet that is).I also made the hummus recipe in the booklet and it worked quite nicely. the only other thing I've used this for was to make Tahini (ingredient used in humus). I haven't made peanut butter because I have a process that takes only two cycles in the wildside without having to mess with it (and without oil)The "recipe" book isn't that great, it only has a handful of recipes, and I didn't see them give any hints on how to convert regular twister jar recipes to the Mini. I couldn't find any useful info on this product before I bought it. The only recipe I've made in the book is the humus. But don't ignore the booklet, it tells you how to clean it, because if you just follow the process for the other jars you will find yourself all wet.Which leads me to my last point, the reason it isn't perfect. the lid is not sealed (most likely so you can rotate it while it's blending). If you put too much water in it and start blending it will shoot out of the jar with colored traces of whatever it was blending (no chucks though). At first I put water to the point where it was touching the bottom of the blade. If you have frozen fruit and that amount of water it will shoot up and out around the "lid" and hit whatever appliances, walls and people that are around it. I've adjusted my process to having just a tiny bit of water and it hasn't happened since.I haven't used the regular twister jar, but if you are looking for the features of the twister jar, but with smaller portions I would recommend the mini.
