2100 Mask Black Skirt, All Black - All Black

This is a update to Sea Vision's previous 2000 dive mask. It also has a very low volume and hugs close to your face. That increases breadth of vision in all directions and makes them less likely to fog up. The pinkish filter removes the blue tint in the water, to correct all the colors so colorful neon fish pop right out. This design fits my face well without leaking, but not quite as well as the 2000 . It is very sturdy mask, and should last a long time if you keep it in its box. If you need it, go to the company and they can make a mask with the lenses ground to your eyeglass prescription.

Really wanted to like this mask. Ran this mask over the course of 11 dives off Kona. Avg depth was @55 ft. 50-110 min duration dives. Lens clarity is very good and seemed to do what it is supposed to do.The issue was leakage around the outer and inner skirt. Early on, I thought it might have been my beard stubble, but even after a close shave, no joy. Adjusting the straps marginally helped but there’s a point where the mask needs to just seal vs trying to force it.Result was constant clearing the mask throughout the dives. Big bummer.May try reaching out the manufacturer but hard to say what they might be able to do if it is a shortcoming in the design or materials.
