This grinder is very good.Smooth to grind, good grip, fine result.I think this is very good to home cafe.

This thing is a huge step up from something like a Hario Skerton pro, and in my opinion should be your first grinder. That said if you have experiences something like a Commandante C40 or 1Zpresso JX-Pro, the build quality of the C2 is clearly lacking in a few ways. Namely the handle and lid are cheap, and the chassis is prone to discoloration or chipping. But for the burrs and quality of the actual grinding it is awesome. I have not tried but I can't imagine this would work for espresso, it is great for pour over though. It's capacity is pretty small compared to the other grinders mentioned, maybe a tight 24g of dark roast, and 30g of a more dense coffee like a lighter roast.

I was fully prepared to love this grinder. And I did until I noticed that the lid is getting increasingly more difficult to remove after grinding. I want to exchange it but I leaving the country for a month and won’t be able to do that in time. Really really disappointed.
