This book has so much to learn from! This book is also the basis for many state’s All State Honor Bands, which are extremely hard to get in. After getting this book my skills improved ten-fold as I became first chair and section leader. I used it for auditions and have impressed many with the amount of musical knowledge in this book.

Good work out through out the scales

It's a good study guide. You must have a very pronounced ability to use your instrument to tackle some of the more advanced lessons available. But it's a good lesson guide and I recommend it to all serious musicians.

This is great for building technique and other minor things when playing. It has etudes in every single key major, and minor, i highly recommend this book and the 48 Famous studies and 3 duos concertants for oboe or saxophone

good book, needed it for lessons

It's the kind of beat that makes you go WEYOO AYOOOO. But seriously, some of the songs in this book are just painful to play. But once you get the hang of the author making every single damn note a flat or a sharp, it sounds nice. As with any other song, right? Just that these are harder
