It does a good job protecting the I pad haven’t had any damage to the tablet, however the the front part of the case broke and the kick stand on the old version was just plastic which my 5 year old also broke off. This new version seems more sturdy and the kick stand is metal which should last longer. Over all I love this case and recommend it to anybody looking for a rugged protective slim case.
