Excellent scratch protection!It's pretty thin compared to other cases, but not as thin as skins or this  TOZO for iPhone 7 Case [0.35mm] Ultra-Thin [ Perfect Fit ] World's Thinnest Hard Protect Case Back Cover Bumper [ Semi-transparent ] Lightweight for iPhone 7 4.7 inch [Matte Ore blue ] case which style-wise is my favorite scratch guard.Quick background on why I chose this case: The Tozo started to scratch my jet black iPhone. I'm not sure if it was because of the somewhat abrasive insides of the case, if dust was sneaking in, or a mix of both. Either way, I have scratches around the back's center, near the logos, and quite a few near the top and bottom edges where the "antenna bands" are. When shopping for a replacement I decided to try a clear case to show off the phone color a bit. The price on this case made it worth a shot.The case is smooth and very slick but it's not slippery. It feels good to hold, but I have an issue with the "case edge wiggle" that soft cases tend to have. I don't like cases flapping when my fingers/thumb brush against the edges and this case has that on the power side. I understand that they won't have the same rigidity as hard cases or bumper based cases but it's hard for me to ignore whenever it happens. Besides that it's easy to take in and out of pockets and easier to pick up off flat surfaces than if it didn't have a case.I'll never understand people who seek and buy slim cases/scratch guards and complain that their phone suffered major structural damage or cracked screens. Do they grade sedans poorly when they won't go off road as well as a Jeep would? If you understand what this case is meant to do then I'll be happy to confirm it's doing that well. I can set it down on any public or private table, toss it down a pocket full of keys and change, or use in outdoor settings without a worry. The lip will not be enough to keep your screen off a surface when you set it down so I recommend a glass screen protector, but be aware the added thickness on the screen will stand out and make for a funky side profile view. There is a slight but effective lip around the camera lens so there's issues setting the phone back-side down.The case is noticeable on the jet black phone. It's reflective in most light so it gives it a weird glow. A slight Tron-like effect around the cut outs and edges. It's definitely noticeable when the flashlight is on (see picture) and I think it's pretty cool but your opinion may differ so I figured I'd point it out. You won't really get crystal clear quality when it's not reflecting light either because it is sliiiiiiightly opaque because it has that dot-pattern some clear tpu/silicon cases have. It also smudges super easy but the surface can be cleaned with a quick shirt wipe though, so that also means it's going to come out of your pocket smudgeless 90% of the time. The company logo is a weird silver glitter color stamp and it gives the case a cheap look. They did a great job molding the volume and power symbols into the case, so I'm not sure why they didn't mold the logo into the sides or back. I noticed dust specks get inside between the case and the back of the phone pretty often too. It's easy enough to clean and wipe off but one shouldn't have to do so every few days.As mentioned, the case is pretty thin and I mostly notice the thickness when I feel the power button (which seems a little more raised than the volume buttons) and when I try to use the ringer switch. The cut outs are pretty exact and the charging port cut out size is especially generous. Buttons are easy to press and there's no give in the case when pushing down.I went with 4 starts because of the case wiggle and how dust keeps getting in. The functionality isn't affected, if anything the buttons are easier to press with this case on, and the case is very slim.

This product is as advertised. It claims to be sleek and it is. Don't expect it to wrap over the front of your phone so as to rise above its surface to protect a direct "flat" face drop onto ground. Usually phones do not drop perfectly flat face down so the protected edges will absorb most of the shock. I chose to buy a glass screen protector that does rise above this cover to protect screen by chance it does happen to fall perfectly face flat. What i love about this case is its durability and the power and volume buttons are protected with a perfectly fitted edge. This cover indeed covers them (see the advertised pictures) unlike other which simply leave slotted holes for such buttons. It also fits perfectly snug around the camera/light eye. If you are looking for a slim fitting and durable case that compliments the features of your iphone, this is the case.

Been an iPhone user since day one and I love to go case-free most of the time (it is a good looking phone and hate bulky items in my pocket). Worried about all the talk about the iPhone 7 Jet Black scratches, I decided to use a skin to protect my new phone. Ordered directly from a highly regarded skin supplier but the experience was a disaster! Paid extra for two-day shipping and two weeks after the skin was still missing in action, not even a tracking number was provided. Customer service was impossible to reach. In the meantime, I decided to buy this case as a stopgap.Product shipped right away and delivered next day. I was pleasantly surprised. The case barely adds any bulk to the phone and six weeks later my phone looks brand new when out of the case. I have dropped the phone twice while in this case, one on hardwood floor and the other on asphalt and the phone survived both drops without a scratch. I'm sure there was some serious dose of luck attached to this as well. All in all, what was supposed to be a stopgap ended up being my first ever daily use iPhone case. I did finally receive the skin about a week after I began using this case and it went right back to the slick supplier with horrendous customer service.

Not much to this case! Very soft and it is clear... but if protection is of big interest to you maybe you should go with something sturdier even if you want to stick with a silicone phone case. Pros: is that it's very easy to install (it won't break your nails trying to get your phone in) and it won't scratch your phone when you install it on your phone. Also, it keeps your phone looking sleek and thin (not bulky) like the iPhone is made to look. Cons: maybe a little too thin, soft or flimsy. Not the best protection. Doesn't go up over the edge of the glass to protect much if phone were to fall face down.

Not the same product delivered every time. I ordered this case almost a year ago and loved it. Obviously it has since turned a New off color and wanted a replacement. Re-ordered the exact same case and got a thicker one. Will be returning and contacting them for info on how to get the "thinnest one guarantee". I can see by the pictures that some people have gotten the thicker one and the thinner one. Due to the camera lense and flash hole being different. I don't want that much plastic. It makes it heavier too I think. And bulkier

After a little over a month of use I've found that I'm really enjoying this case. I haven't dropped my phone so I can't comment on its protection. It's not a bulky case, but I do feel that it will offer sufficient protection in moderate drops. And on the plus side, that fact that it isn't bulky means that it almost doesn't add any bulk to my phone at all. I can easily slide it inside and out of my pocket without any issue. And I like the fact that it gives my phone a more rubbery feel so I can grip it easier, lowering the chances that I will actually drop my phone. All buttons, switches, and ports are completely accessible and easy to use. It's really easy to install, just takes a few seconds. I hope Case Army makes this case for my future phones so I can continue to use them.
