1000 Chairs

A pretty thick book on 1000 chairs with almost one page per design. But due to its thickness and small paper size its really hard to open the book completely for a comfortable reading. The designs are updated till the year 1997. So, doesn't really work for someone looking for any contemporary design of recent years. Also, the description is really short or basic - might not work for someone looking for details or design process. But, truly worthy the price and works great as a quick reference book.

Satisfecho con la compra de éste libro... Muy completo en su información, con excelente calidad de imágenes y empastado.

Chegou bastante rápido, bem embalado, meio confuso de ler por ser multilíngue tirando isso o livro é bem prático e fala sobre cadeiras e criadores em ordem crescente até os dias de hoje de 1800 a 2016, possui fonte pequena mas nada que atrapalhe a leitura, as imagens são todas coloridas e apresenta alguns croquis. Um ótimo livro para referências para designers e arquitetos.

I used this book as reference for modelling 100 chairs. The amount of text and white space didn't take away from the images. All of the classics were in here.

In eerste instantie lijkt het on een Engelstalige versie te gaan. Niet goed opgelet, boekomschrijving is in het Engels, cover ook. Bij productdetails boek staat ergens dat het in Spaans, Italiaans is. Ik had Engels verwacht. Grrr…
