Smart design, baby sleeps so much more comfortably.
I looove this thing. It is so perfect for keeping my almost one year old's head and neck more supported in his big boy car seat. It is designed to be threaded through the actual back of car seats, to be met and snapped over the top of them, but ours was especially easy to install around our Graco Contender 65's headrest. It secures very well and my son has never looked comfier when he's fallen asleep in the car. I attach the forehead strap when I know he's tired, just above his plain of sight so it doesn't bug him before he knocks out. This is a very well designed product, we love it!

Awesome product!
Bought this for my 7 yr old daughter who still rides in a high back booster seat. .. we bought it for long trips so her head wouldn't flop around. It was easy to install, nice full color step-by-step instructions, high quality product. She doesn't like it on the carseat for short trips but it is so easy to take on and off, it's not a big deal...wish I would have found some thing like this when my kiddo was younger...

It doesn’t quite work, and if it does, not for long. Flops around.
The concept is great, but after kids fall asleep they slouch or I don’t know what, but it doesn’t quite work. The part that lets them flip it up and down don’t quite go down enough, the head piece doesn’t stay snug enough, flops around with their head and then their heads fall out of it. I kept having to pull over to put their heads back in and even lowering head piece to try and keep their heads in it - no luck. It’s also hot and made them sweaty. And my girl’s hair became a mess.

Big
I have an almost 3 year old and a 5 year old. It fits big and does not go down enough to hold their heads well. The strip is attached with velcro on the sides to allow adjustments, yet is big for little ones. The rotation thing is a half circle where a "stick" of the strip gets in, which is a little trouble. The strip can easily get unattached and kid gets frustrated because she can't do it on her own. In addition, the half circle doesn't allow to lower the strip to hold the forhead well. I red reviews saying its big for little ones. I got this anyways thinking I would do something to adjust it. Haven't done it ....

NapUp or fairly close to up.
I purchased the NapUp child car seat head support after reviews from other sites and with my wife's insistence; I was skeptical. It was very easy to install initially, but needs a few actual uses before getting the correct height of the side protection and angle of the forehead strap. My 4-year-old doesn't mind using it and when she feels tired she requests that it gets attached. It is NOT easy to adjust and connect while driving, so when by myself and my daughter falls asleep I either need a long red-light or I need to pull over to get it fully adjusted and then depending on her movement, readjusted. Once set, it provides a little better than a neck pillow of support. We don't have it tight around the forehead strapping our daughter to the back of the car seat like Clockwork Orange, but it's a slightly bit looser. It keeps her head from fully flopping forward and stays put better than the neck pillow, but for almost $50 that I paid not sure it's worth that price. My review for this product would be 3-stars - considering the price, the constant readjustment and some minor aesthetics of this thing always being there and can't be easily removed when not in use (the forehead strap just kind of dangles down or up as you leave it - note: my child has not complained about this at all).My wife's review was 4-5 stars. She likes it and thinks it is more reliable than a neck pillow and keeps her head positioned better too. Mind you, she didn't pay the bill for this so the price might not enter into her decision. So - I averaged it out to 4 stars. If I become an expert with the positioning and my daughter continues to request using it I upgrade my review.

Not sure just yet.
The jury is still out in this one. My two year old’s head wasn’t holding up as the kids’ heads do in the picture and his head slid under the strap even after I adjusted the pillow to as low as possible. (My kid is in the 95 percentile for height). This was the first 10 road trip with the product. Let’s see what happens on the return trip home. My toddler also seems bothered by the pillow that lines the back of the car seat.I’d have to say it’s better than nothing but I’m hoping with a few more adjustments that it will work like the pictures do.

Does the job
This is a lifesaver! My child is 4 yrs old and I always get so worried when her keeps falling forward. This works well and does the job. At first I thought it wouldn’t work because she is tall but it did. I used to use the other band ones that you clip in the back but when she got older it didn’t seem to work. I wish the Velcro could be more tighter around the circumference of the head but this will do for now. Though a bit pricey worth it rather than worrying and turning your head while driving to see if she’s ok!

Comfortable head support
I purchased 2 of those for my 5 and 9 year old. We went on a 2,000 miles road trip to several National Parks in AZ and UT. Overall those head supports do the job. They are easy to install, comfortable (according to my kids) for long ride when they sleep. In order for this to work properly, please ensure your kids are not slouching on their car seat, they have to sit properly (butt against the back support), otherwise their head may not be held, and you will need to re-adjust the strap position (not practical when you are driving). Yes I recommend them.
