Overall Very Good
For the price this is a very bright flashlight. Might even be a little too bright if you live in a suburban neighborhood but you can adjust the brightness. It’s light weight and has performed well for what I use it for. This would also be perfect if you live in a rural area.

Its bright but NOT the advertised lumens
It is bright in a narrow beam king of way. It probably is worth the thirty some bucks but definitely does not cast 100,000 lumen of the $600.00 flashlight or anything close to that. It more likely is 10 to 15 thousand lumen if that. But that is not saying is it is not bright because...it is bright. Just not the over hyped mega-bright the makers claim.I would advise getting extra batteries. (26650 batteries available on Amazon) And if you have a charger for the older smaller 18650 batteries then these larger (fatter) 26650 batteries do fit and can be charged on your 18650 battery charger as well. How do I know? I do it all the time.Or just buy a bare 4 place 18650 charger and save some money. And if you are as bright as this flashlight...they you may just decide to purchase it. LOLI did and no regrets...

A little tutorial - in case you buy this flashlight
I think I will like this flashlight. I got it for the new car we just bought. The device is bright (more on this later), it's a nice size (see first pic), and it has a nice heft. The "User Manual" is a skosh limited (pics 2-3), ... that's it! Nothing about how to assemble the flashlight."Assemble" you say? Yep. As it arrived the item installed in the barrel of the flashlight was the upper item in Pic 4. Since I only looked at the end of it, I assumed that was the battery -- and the the black/blue think was a spare. So I charged it overnight and ... no light at all.So I removed the upper item from the barrel completely, to discover that it's a carrier for three AAAs. Then, based solely on intuition (NOT the "User Manual") I removed that piece, slid the Lylting Brand thingie in instead, and hooked up the USB cable again. Voilà! A green pilot light on the switch, followed by red, which later turned to green (I think that's the sequence). And now the flashlight is charged up and in the car. And the result is a bright light, with two step-down brightness settings, followed by the inevitable flashing sequence (who decided we need THAT -- in every LED flashlight!!). And finally -- S-O-S, ... as in Morse code: dit-dit-dit dah-dah-dah dit-dit-dit. Wow!! Five settings to scroll through with the On-Button!The cover for the USB ports (Yes, two of them -- you can apparently use the battery as a phone recharger?) is a bit flimsy. Treat it with care. Finally, having just received it, I can't speak to longevity. Based on reviews, some have had spectacularly bad experiences in that regard. Hopefully not me. The "User Manual" promises a two year warranty of "a 100% satisfactory answer." Whatever that might mean. No contact info! I'll update this review if needed.Oh, on the brightness, I wish someone at Amazon would police the advertised brightness claims on these things! The Lumens claims on most of them are simple absurdities! It's bright enough for my needs.

Good light!
The light is great, but the charge dies out fast. Very good light overall.

Charging
12 months after purchase the flashlight now fails to charge, disappointing after less than 12 months of minimal use.

Like a supernova: really bright while it lasts
When first (and fully) charged, this flashlight is BRIGHT, blindingly so when used in complete darkness. As many others have noted, the rechargeable battery doesn't last very long at all, and once the switch/indicator is flashing red you're basically looking at a dead flashlight. It's also HEAVY, which likely makes it durable but also a little unwieldy.

Is What It Is
I will say this light is bright enough to do what you need to use it for. Appears to be built with goodsolid craftmanship and functions as stated. At this time I cannot comment on the lasting of thebattery after a full charge. I haven't had the light long enough, it took about 4 hours for a fullcharge the day I received it. I cannot advise you on the durability either. I'm just giving you a truthful, honest review on facts and what I have seen. However, after I have had this light long enough tocomment on those aspects, I will. As of right now, I would buy it again...
